Now we can see the close proximity of Moira’s land to the turkey farm it seems unconvincing that she hasn’t dropped by even once to have a look.

You'd think Celia and Ray had enough to keep their empire going with the drug dealing. Surely there’s not enough profit to be made in fattening up a shed full of turkeys that it’s worth taking the risk of slave labour to run it.

Perhaps the turkey farming is a way to launder all their drug and prostitution money. So Celia wants to run the farm as cheaply as possible with slaves to ensure she has maximum profit from drugs and prostitution.
