This has probably been mentioned but I'm watching on catch up and I feel like I need to confirm that Horsham has both a greggs AND a Gail's 😆

If I remember correctly Keye married a rich older man when he was 18 or 21. I think the man was around ten years older than him.

So he was probably catapulted straight from school/uni into a world surrounded by rich 30/40 year olds. And it doesn’t sound like a healthy relationship where he was celebrated, so I can imagine he tried very hard to blend in and deliberately lose his old self.

I’ve always like Davide a lot better than Keye. You could see how he’s never been here for drama as well and tries to be a bit more diplomatic than Keye.

I know! He was really looking down his nose. Reading between the lines he seems to have been some sort of escort for dirty old men so think he needs to find a bit of humility.

Have totally gone off Keye, cannot believe how disrespectful he was towards Davide and his friends (and the poor cats). I hope they ask Keye in the commitment ceremony what his problem is with the cats. His behaviour was just awful.

I went off him when he decided to poke his nose into Nelly and Steven’s business. Yes Steven is a twit but K and his attitude was OTT in my opinion, and he could have been more diplomatic about it ( like Davide probably would have been if it was on him) plus I HATE people getting into my business ( so that episode probably triggered me, lol)

I don’t care how long you have known xxx for or how much they got your back, the moment anyone from a partners friend group wants to start telling me about my relationship or bending my partners ear then I will be making move and they can all date each other. I don’t have the time or patience for all that.

Oh God I've only just started watching last night's and Grace's whiny voice has already come out.

I keep imagining John and Abi living some kind of twentyfirst century Margo and Gerry from The Good Life existence. Terribly polite, the epitome of good etiquette and fixated upon the perfect placement of an ornament (or a soft toy).

I found that whole thing really affected. I wonder if he had a really average/ maybe slightly low income upbringing and he’s now just got a chip on his shoulder. Add on being spoiled by an older, rich guy. He just doesn’t come across as having grown up with money to me.

As someone else said upthread Keye explained on his socials today that there was backstory - Davide's cats had been being looked after by his ex (presumably why they weren't at the flat) and it had been a topic of conversation that day, which wasn't the best backdrop for the cat cafe "fun". Keye was being sensitive about a few things I think.

Another thing the cameras didn't catch that was quite pivotal.

I suspect he's trying to save face after looking like a snobby twat
