The end is near, just behind the cat cafe.

Bring back Abi and her noises

I hope they treat April with the same vitriol as they did Sarah.

April would deserve it though. Sarah really didn't and had a much more excruciating 'husband' to cope with.

I've definitely seen the old ladies on the sledges!

Maybe they're all dead now so they don't get more pay from the ads.

PerfectYear321 · 05/11/2025 01:35

Steven's got kids?! Was it a requirement of signing up this year? 🙄🤔

Gosh, imagine having him as a baby daddy or dad 😭

I saw the beginning when they were all dressed as clowns and thought Kristina hasn't done herself any favours with her big lips and stuff.

Oh dear! She looked so lovely before.

Abi has the look and similar wardrobe. Lots of off one shoulder stuff. My mum had this kind of thing for her choir and drama wardrobe. No body of dress cutouts though and more bouffant hair/hair piece wigs. I always refer to this as her Margot era

That's so funny and true. Abigail has got natural charm and manners which is rare these days think. I keep seeing Penelope Keith when I look at her now.

mbonfield · 05/11/2025 06:23

After all the series over the world, why do the team always pick people from different ends of their respective countries?

Paul Brunning has stated previously that it is something to work and should not be an obstacle or words to the effect. It only goes to show that the he and the team fail to understand family logistics, jobs, money etc.

It ends the same way people squabbling about never being able to see one another which is very understandable and oh we will see each other at weekends which is never going to happen or perhaps for a few weeks!
The success rate of the couples who actually remain together is 17% in the UK.

It is an entertaining programme but could be improved if people were matched with less of a distance issue.

stayathomegardener · 05/11/2025 07:34

The whole thing would be far more interesting if they genuinely chose on a compatible basis rather than traits most likely to cause viewing drama.
Realistically walking red flag rat boy wasn’t suitable for anyone.

Agree, it feels like Nelly was set up to fail and others like Grace and Leigh vulnerable from past experiences and exposed for entertainment.

I agree. It's just for drama now and it's ripped the soul out of it. Watching dull people bicker and never resolve anything is not entertaining.

Postcardsender · 04/11/2025 21:14

Has Reiss ever said what he likes about being married to Leisha?

Apart from the celebrity of being on telly?

Mafsisback · 05/11/2025 08:18

I think they also need to avoid matching those (of childbearing age) without kids, to those who do have kids unless there’s a very good reason for it. Remember poor Hannah a couple of seasons ago ended up with a guy who had 4 young kids?! He also treated her like absolute crap and it later came out he was a deadbeat dad who had jetted off to Australia while his kids were young.

Even for the ones who say they’re okay with a partner having kids I think realistically often it causes problems in terms of who relocates to where. Like Bailey works remotely so he could actually move to Rebecca if it wasn’t for his kid. That’s the main issue.

This year nearly all the younger women didn’t have kids but at least 4 of the men did. How could they match Nelly a successful dentist with Steven who had two kids. She’s early 30s, plenty of men her age don’t have kids and it’s not as if Steven made up for it by being an amazing guy.

EveryMeandEveryYou · 05/11/2025 08:44

Hard agree. If they are both actually single parents, as in the other parent has nothing to do with the child, then fine, they can move. Even then if the kids are school age it is disrupting but I can imagine it happening.

I think across reality shows this year they've put a load of "single dads" on shows perhaps to even things up because men moan every year about not wanting to "take on" someone else's kids. The trouble with this is they have varying degrees of relationships to those kids which can be a huge red flag but the experts haven't even looked at it. I heard on a few other sites that Ash had only split from the mother of his child less than 6 months before he applied for MAFS. Whoever he gets it on with is always going to have that lurking in the background of their relationship in his hometown.

Mafsisback · 05/11/2025 08:58

Yeah Ash comes off as fairly reasonable but then you realise he couldn’t make it work with the ex-fiance and couldn’t make it work with the mother of his young child either.

I feel it takes quite a lot for women with a young kid to end it with the child’s father. Or if he was the one who walked away that’s potentially even more of a red flag. I wonder how she felt about him coming on to MAFS so shortly after they split.

I suspect Ash starts off strong but may have commitment issues.

chaosmaker · 05/11/2025 09:22

Any of these single fathers could be the subject of a LTB post on here, realistically. In megaphones and Itallicised, bold capitals when it comes to the likes of ratboy.

Chatonette · 05/11/2025 09:37

Ashley and Grace—what have I missed? Did they leave during home visits?

RancidRuby · 05/11/2025 09:48

With the Ash and Grace situation I've been of opinion that they are both at fault and that it's a fundamental comparability issue, but some posts on here and a look at Grace's instagram have made me think the problem does more lie with him and perhaps she's been unfairly edited. It'll be interesting to see if they are just "taking some time to reflect" and if they will be back for final dates.

EmeraldShamrock000 · 05/11/2025 10:33

Ashley is immature and likes attention and reassurance for the group and experts.
It would annoy me too.
They're just very different.
I'd put Ashley with April. Let them gaslight each other.
Bailey and Nelly, would have been a great match.

I don't think it matters now as both couples have left, but the gossip columns seem to think Ash and April did try to go out straight after the show. I strongly suspected they'd banged in his spare room as soon as they got a chance - he was doing the script of suddenly emotionally disentangling from Grace because another woman was lying in wait with her legs open.

I’m sure the first U.K. one was like that. I’ll be honest it was very dull viewing. The first Australian ones were great. Had a good balance. Until they then had an unofficial partner swap and it felt like they were then recreating it in subsequent series.

I suspect that she banged Steven too, no wonder Leo didn't stand a chance.
Speaks volumes about Ashley, poor menz cannot resist the opportunity of a quick shag.
Grace had a lucky escape.

TinselAngel · 05/11/2025 16:10

I think it’s very unlikely April shagged Steven and Ashley (or realistically either of them) in the same week!

EveryMeandEveryYou · 05/11/2025 16:39

I'm not sure about Steven, although the cooked breakfast in bed was a bit weird and all the sexual innuendo prior, but the Ash thing seems to be out there with members of the public saying they've seen them. I still think that is why Grace mentioned thrush - she had suspicions. Not like her to expose that about herself without a bit of thought to who it might concern.

browneyes77 · 05/11/2025 17:49

Ooh, just seen on TikTok that the reunion will be 2 parts and will air 13th & 14th November the very day after the series ends.

So we won’t have to wait like we normally do.

Hopefully it will be more interesting than this series has been, as things will have happened since filming stopped that could cause some ‘drama’ 🤞🏼
