TRIE pointed out that Strictly is nowhere near its end. It’s still the second most watched tv show in the UK - only Celebrity Traitors has had better ratings this year.

I will likely stop watching if it's Holly, she does my head in.

I heard something about Fearne Cotton? But just speculation I think.

I'm not a fan of Fearne and Holly. Hope it isn't them.

I was sad to see Ellie go, but tbf, I never voted for her. I am glad she didn't have to do the dance off more than once though.

I don't know why Balvinder keeps ending up in the dance off, but think it's just that she is a bit less memorable than other people.

Ive just been listening to Political Currency and Ed and George were joking about applying for Tess & Claudia’s jobs. Ed practically collapsed in hysterics at the idea of George hitting the dance floor 🤣🤣🤣

Oh I like Angela Scanlon, she was a decent dancer too. I don't know who can replace Claude, but that's probably because I love her 😍

Yes, I do always wonder why people pop up on this thread sometimes, talking about Strictly being on its last legs, haemorrhaging viewers etc etc, when despite the scandals it clearly still has a huge following and great entertainment value.

You need someone who is quick witted but not at the expense of the contestants - that’s where Le Voix’s style falls down because it punches down. Claudia is the master at not doing that. I’m not sure I watch enough entertainment shows to guess at a suitable replacement!

Losing Claudia is the worst. I also can't think who could replace her.

Angela Scanlon I don't think has enough presence to take over from Tess. Tess always strikes me as a safe pair of hands type of presenter and I don't know if Angela Scanlon has done enough live tv for that. Or maybe I just haven't seen it. Zoe Ball would be great I think.

Holly could do Tess’ role easy enough I think. Agree it’s Claudia who is the hard one imagine not being there

Like the pros dancing around the table on Sunday night - daft, unscripted presumably but she seamlessly worked it into the segment and the following segments too, without getting off time or topic.

Richard and Marina were very quick to defend Tess, saying she by far has the hardest role in terms of managing the timing of the show. If she doesn’t hit every mark the show can massively over run.

I can absolutely see that. She strikes me as extremely professional. Claudia is such good fun, but I also don't think just anyone could do what Tess does.

I agree that Tess has a tough role, just like Claudia. It’s not an inferior role, just different. They have opposing styles which have gelled perfectly, and it’s clear that they get on well offscreen.

Holly Willoughby would be a poor choice I think. She seems unpopular with the public. I don’t know much about her tbh, I’ve never watched her shows.

Angela Scanlon, Chris Ramsey, Hannah, Zoe, Rylan would be good. Ed Balls was joking but he’d be great! I like Fearne’s radio show so would be happy to see her, likewise Sara Cox.

I love the song Sapphire it’s partially in Hindi and then there’s a version that is majority Hindi. I wonder which they are going for…I expect the band to completely butcher it.
