I love Karen but while all the scrutiny of Lewis and Amber is going on, its worth remembering that Karen competed at a top level in dance right into her teenage years so its no wonder she is so teachable and good. It doesn't make her quite a ringer but I can see why she'd be someone who'd be able to give it all a good go.

The problem with Couple's Choice is that thereare no rules about what you do, so he is inevitably going to do something that will showcase the best of his skills.

Even the weakest dancers have their shining moment with Couple's choice. Punam's Bollywood style dance from last year was one of the highlights of the series imo, but she was mediocre with other styles.

I'd like to see Lewis do Latin for a change because he hasn't done one since week 1! Perhaps that is going to be his Achilles' heel?

No, it doesn't make her a ringer. Plus, doesn't she have curvature of the spine? I think she's in the habit of working hard because she was a footballer.
Lewis and Amber have both been in musicals on the professional stage, so that kind of experience is significant.
Amber was in "9 to 5 the Musical" and was excellent. That's got to help more.

The difference for me is Karen had those few weeks when she went off the boil and looked like a DO contender, rather than banging out perfect routines each week. She's doing it the journey way. And she's not smug.

True. Although when he was 18 he was the runner up in Sky's "Got to Dance". He was in a Hip Hop dance troupe called "Ruff Diamond".

Katya really pushed Lewis and showcased him. Such a joy to see her dance to her full and brilliant ability.

i think George is also working on a Tour he's meant to be doing with someone doing comedy/skits, he's been plugging tickets for it on one of his tiktok accounts with his partner, so i assume he's rehearsing or writing, or whatever around that. His own tiktok account is a lot of strictly stuff to keep it going.

Favourites this week were Lewis and Karen.

Amber will prob be in the dance off again as although she was very good it was oddly lifeless and she was not that high on the leaderboard.

Likely going home prob one of Ellie, Vicky Harry or George. I
m afraid Ellie is the worst dancer left, the upper body and presentation are good but her legs movements are clumsy. But Harry was ok but forgettable which is always a recipe for not getting votes and the same goes for Vicky. George was better than last week but Alexis seemed to do most of the work. Alex was about the same standard but it was memorable. La v not as good as judges said but highenough on leaderboard. To be safe I think.
