Carlos has really grown on me too. I found him beyond irritating in previous years. Not sure if it's just that he's done enough time on Strictly now to be established or if it's the connection he has with Karen.

Carlos has also grown on me. I think he is excellent, he also seems to look more confident. It's never easy to join an established set up in a different country but he is doing well. He also seems like a lovely chap.

I don't mind Carlos. He seems like a good match for Karen. Their AT was easily my favourite dance of the night. They were so precise and in synch with one another.

Is it just me or does Carlos' accent sound more British now?

I'm Chinese and recall when he first arrived on Strictly, his accent was very strong, and he pronounced Scanlon as scallion when he was paired up with Angela.

I think pros need time to settle and mature.
Both Julian and Alexis are not grabbing me but I may like them by 2027!

Carlos has also spoken about being gay recently, I wonder if he is more comfortable in himself and that reflects on how comfortable he is in Strictly?

Yes, I thought his accent had changed a lot when I first heard him this year. He must have a good ear.

I like Carlos and think he's doing really well with Karen. He always tries to showcase her, not him.
