I think this is right. In a usual game there’s been at least one traitor out earlier which means the faithfuls don’t know if there’s been a recruitment or a failed recruitment. Here they almost certainly know that two of their number are traitors and always have been. Nick and Joe obviously aren’t so from the rest and David is too hapless to be a traitor. I think the faithfuls have it in the bag.

I think if they do a celebrity version again, the producers are going to have to bear in mind some of the oddities of this season, and have a few tricks up their collective sleeve to force traitors out into the open a bit more/disadvantage the Faithful a bit less.

CaveMum · 31/10/2025 10:12

I’m about to listen to last night’s TRIE reaction so will report back!

Romeiswheretheheartis · 31/10/2025 10:38

Just catching up and marking place really but watching Kate and David interrogate each other as both faithfuls was painful, why was Kate so keen to convince everyone she was a traitor 😂

I do wonder how much the production team are pulling the strings. If they didn't want Kate in the final they may have manipulated this as there was no real heat on her otherwise. And Joe voting for her seemed to come out of nowhere.

You go with the herd and vote for the person in the eye of the storm - Joe (and Nick's) plan and it is correct is to keep an eye on the real traitors and keep them on side until the last possible moment and then vote them out when it's too late to recruit.

MrsLeonFarrell · 31/10/2025 11:27

Ideally I'd want Alan and Nick to win. I know it's impossible but i think they both deserve it.

Phase42 · 31/10/2025 11:31

I like Joe...he hasn't been a sheep in this and he's the first person to say that he thinks it's Alan & Cat. I'd like to see Joe & Nick win.

TakeMeToAnIgloo · 31/10/2025 11:38

It would be interesting if they could do a random draw from the names of people who wanted to be traitors, so that nobody was certain whether they were younger/older, male/female, known/unknown etc. That might change the dynamics somewhat and force them to watch behaviour more than just using demographics like the big dog theory, or knowing that there must be a woman, someone of colour etc.

Mimosa3andmore · 31/10/2025 13:12

I can't believe we have to wait until next Thursday! I'm really hoping they can get rid of Alan and Cat and the faithfuls share the pot between them.

Umbilicat · 31/10/2025 13:46

Joe and Nick for the win (and I don't mind if David scrapes in on their coattails, though don't also mind if he goes)

It's 100% obvious now one Traitor must be Cat because she's the only woman left. They may not be saying this in public but ALL faithfuls, even David, must have deduced this. But the sensible thing to do is vote out David and make out he's their big target, THEN Joe and Nick turn on Cat, then Alan ...

Going to be abroad next Thursday. What VPN do people recommend?

gingercat02 · 31/10/2025 13:50

@Umbilicat we use Nord VPN, used it abroad loads. DH watched Traitors and the F1 in Germany a couple of weeks ago. Not all of them can get around IPlayer.

CarefulN0w · 31/10/2025 13:51

I know Joe’s big dog theory came across as misogynistic, but he was correct. So it’s all very well saying what about Celia & Claire, but the producers went for the older males. Plus ca change.

I don't mind who wins as long as it's not David. He should have been banished ages ago.

If he hogs the round table again, in the next banishment just as Nick or Joe go for Alan, then he'll have done the work for the traitors yet again!

Cat and Alan literally sat back, not saying a word, and laughing at him and Kate when they went for each other.

Maggiethecat · 31/10/2025 14:49

David infuriates me! I’ve never heard such a soothing voice chat so much shit.
The persistent belief that SF was a traitor solely because he’s so smart will haunt him forever.

Did Alan not completely blow his cover when he could not say I'm a Faithful without giggling?

Some people may think the usual ‘Alan being Alan’ but surely that’s worn a bit thin now and they have to look beyond that.
I still can’t believe no one’s suspected Alan of chopping Celia just by virtue of him sitting beside her, and then considering the quote on top.

PuppyMonkey · 31/10/2025 06:31

just checking in. My predications..:

  1. Alan will go at Round Table.
  2. Cat will be voted off first at the End Game.
  3. There will be a tense moment where we won’t know if David is safe, but the others will eventually keep him in… I suppose it depends if David does something “suspicious” on the last day.

I’m mostly looking forward to Traitors Uncloaked afterwards tbh. Grin

I think you are right

its been a brilliant series but like the end of the normal series 3 it’s turned into a damp squib of an ending

JoeMarlerseyes · 31/10/2025 16:14

as i said on the other thread (bit confusing having 2 threads) I want Joe and Nick to win. I like Joe, yes he is competitive, but he is a sportsman.
Alan is just being irritating and not very nice. Cat has coasted along.
david is just a yawn fest.

Bbq1 · 31/10/2025 16:14

I like David. I definitely don't want Alan or Cat to win. Alan is starting to get really smug now.

The endings almost always seem to be a bit of a let-down

CaveMum · 31/10/2025 17:17

Richard and Marina (get me talking about them in a first name basis!) think there will be a final episode twist, simply just because the producers can!

Stowickthevast · 31/10/2025 17:53

I've just caught up after being away this week. So pleased they didn't murder Nick but a bit bemused by it. I feel we haven't had much Traitors tower action recently and would have liked them to go back and recap on their thinking of murdering Lucy.

I think the Kate vote was because they knew one of the women must be a traitor (although no-one explicitly said this). Now that Kate's gone, Joe & Nick have a much stronger argument for Cat being a traitor. And surely they must suspect Alan after the fire pit?

I think the only chance the traitors have of winning is if they can persuade David to vote for Joe, who he is suspicious of. Then David, Cat & Alan all vote off Joe at the first roundtable. It then moves to the fire pit but I don't know what would happen there if it's a 2-2 vote as I don't think that has happened in any that I've seen. Assuming Nick & David vote together against Cat & Alan.

I don't really mind who wins at this stage - I think Cat, Joe & Nick have all played well. That's no way Alan would have got this far in a non celeb version though!

Mydahliasareshit · 31/10/2025 18:41

The final really should have been tonight- a delicious way to finish the week, snacks and wine in front of the TV, real group viewing. I bet the ratings would have been massive instead of putting it off until the middle of next week.

I so hope David doesn't win, he's a total drear with his soothing patronising voice. Has his tongue been surgically removed from Fry's arsed yet?

Alan has been a terrible bitch, but he does deserve to win for the entertainment value brought to proceedings.

I miss JR'S energy.

Pixiedust49 · 31/10/2025 18:59

Never been a JR fan but so entertaining to watch in this. Since his dramatic exit it has felt a bit flat to me.
