Just to quote @mrsmalaprop
"I do think Ash has some dubious attitudes to women, but many women don’t seem to mind that. Grace does, but she seems to get upset and frustrated, which lands badly with Ash and makes him defensive. She’d be better off laughing at him and saying ‘that’s not going to get you laid, Boyo.’ Just - get your message across playfully so he learns without feeling attacked. Maybe?"
That's exactly how I am seeing it and think this should be handled. Men like Ash, they are simple creatures and respond to their own language better than one where they are being lectured and told that they absolutely must write a 10000 essay on how wrong it is to say "phwoarrrr, you sexy beast". You have got to speak Caveman.
Also, isn't it funny how I am reading what posters here have said about what Grace is trying to communicate and am thinking, yeah, she has a point. However, when I am having to listen to her just drone on in that whiny, demanding, patronising manner I have no time for what she's saying, because she's pissing me off with her message. If someone told me to go and self-reflect and then expect me to come back and reflect on my self-reflection , I would tell them to fuck off.
