Why is this news such a ‘ bombshell ‘ ? Kat was suspicious about her all along and Zoe only said this in order to get Sharon’s money! I thought it would be something much bigger.
Sharon will hate her now as much as Jean does.

No surprises there! And apparently next week Kat blurts it out in the Vic (as you do). Whether Zoe will tell the full truth now, who knows. She seems to lie several times a day so why change the habit of a lifetime.

Hopefully Zoe will disappear soon. Although it’s true they will drag out it out till Christmas. I bet Sharon will give her another slap and Jean continue to snip at her constantly. The only one who likes her is Tommy.

Well well, Nigel doing the right thing ( at last) and Zoe confessing that Dennis isn’t the twins dad.
Lovely cat , I suppose this was to show that Zoe isn’t as bad as we think she is ! ( didn’t convince me , but glad they rescued him !)

On Monday ( I think ) Johnny was accepting a free drink from Zoe because he was skint. Along comes Tim with a new business card and suddenly
Johnny is splashing the cash around and we still don’t see him do any work! He is clearly spending the cash advance and spoiling Lexi even more than she was before. He needs to stop this. At least Billy and honey are seeing this bribery for what it is.

The kitten seems like a clumsy hark-back to the fact that 20 years ago Zoe had a cat called Baby.

The way they are leaking this Zoe storyline out is so annoying. Surely the writers didn't really think that was a 'bombshell'. And why did the cat have to be in the sewage pipe.🤮 Unless maybe it's a comment on the shite scripts😆

Even the Nigel storyline is annoying me now. It's too much loading him with this roadcrash storyline, isn't having dementia enough? It is all so unrealistic.

When did Nigel become so lucid?

Yes, exactly. In the interview he's dithering and can't remember most of what happened, then half an hour later he's having a philosophical discussion with Julie about still being a man, not letting the disease define him, and wanting justice. He would have forgotten that entire discussion by the time he sat back down in the police station.

I hated how Zoe said she washed the cat in the sink ! Poor thing must have really stunk , but it looked in good shape after using the family washing up bowl!

Why is Johnny constantly buying Lexi things? He is trying far too hard. He comes across as desperate ffs.

Johnny needs to chill out, he has practically moved in with Callum. Its just unnecessary. I don't blame Lexi for taking advantage, she's not exactly hiding the fact she's taking him for all she can

I was also surprised at Nigel’s lucidity in today’s episode.

I’m guessing Julie will get charged soon and will leave the show so the writers can build up the relationship between Phil and Nigel before Nigel (perhaps) dies at Christmas.

I can’t see Julie being jailed. I can see Phil being furious at what’s gone on.

its such a mess though because I do not believe Phil would have left for weeks when he knows Julie’s at work and Nigel would be alone all day.

I'm finding Jonny sausage really creepy and I've said before why are 2 grown men pandering to a child that is not theirs.

The Nigel Julie stuff is just daft now.

And though she's not popular , I really like Zoe's voice (well Michell Ryan) compare it to when she was shrieky whingey teenage Zoe , it has mellowed .

Poor Janet and Will may have to buy Lexi something else now! I do feel that Johnny is just trying to be nice and win her over, nothing more, but once Phil returns he won’t be so accommodating! Billy n honey are right too, it’s too much. Johnny needs to stop with the gifts.

To be fair, sausage didn’t know that invisible Janet and Will were planning a surprise present , but yes, honeys face was funny ! She is good at that !

I don't know why noone is parenting Lexi. Maybe it's because she doesn't have any parents around? There is no way I would allow my child to accept what Johnny is offering. Callum needs to grow up, get a grip. Didn't he used to beat up Whitney? Didn't he have a tough upbringing? He isn't some timid, shy teen, he is a grown man.
