Welcome to the EastEnders spoilers thread, where we post and talk about any EE spoilers we've read about, including those in early release episodes on iPlayer.

Link below to watch episodes on BBC iPlayer - these are usually dropped at 6am on broadcast days - and you can read brief synopses of upcoming episodes:

These storylines and acting is beyond ridiculous now. Definitely Scooby Doo vibes😂. George arsing about with his coat. Why did it take them so long to get over to Harry's flat? Where they catching ghosts on the way?

3K to be told your abondoned son was in foster care. I'd have just assumed that.

I think I’m in the minority here because I do - generally speaking - still enjoy watching EE and look forward to watching it four mornings a week. There is still a lot of good acting and some writing to keep me invested (but not enough). The Sean O’Connor period (lots of scenes with Boring Bex at Walford High, the PSA’s, getting rid of Ronnie and Roxie) was the only era when I was watching out of loyalty. Ben Wadey isn’t as bad…not yet anyway.

It’s strange because despite the moaning I do about it, I still look forwards to watching it. It’s my guilty pleasure and I like to be loyal as I’ve watched from the start.
Some episodes are better than others, sometimes it can be funny and I like a few of the characters too.
I just hope that the Zoe story is wrapped up soon and maybe the slaters can move on a bit. Kats been through enough !

Alucard55 · 04/11/2025 20:51

I'm partly watching it now to see how much worse the storylines and acting can get.

Shellingbynight · 04/11/2025 21:22

I still look forward to watching, and then within five minutes it's so bad I start fast forwarding. The thing I enjoy most at the moment is other people's comments on here!

South it's funny you mention Sean O'Connor's reign because it really is starting to remind me of that. It was report at the time (and denied) that some of the senior cast members (inc Steve McF) were very unhappy and walked off set which precipitated O'Connor's exit.

SnowFrogJelly · 05/11/2025 00:48

Definitely like an episode of Scooby Doo tonight! Is Joel not coming back then..

I never understood why they killed off Ronnie and Roxie .
Was there some drama behind the decision..they were great in the show ,main characters ..pure madness to kill them off

What did he walk off set in regard to .

Winterflowers6 · 05/11/2025 06:26

How do you all know so much from behind the scenes, where is all this gossip coming from ,I'm clearly missing out 😭

the80sweregreat · 05/11/2025 06:28

I was sad to see Roxy go, but Ronnie not as much tbh.

the80sweregreat · 05/11/2025 06:30

Some future storylines or gossip is on the Facebook pages for EE. Not always reliable and sometimes just speculation.
I suppose there are other forums, but if there is a subscription to pay then I don’t bother with those.

Winterflowers6 · 05/11/2025 06:38

I'm on face book ,I will have a look for EE page ,thankyou x

the80sweregreat · 05/11/2025 12:32

I’m concerned about Mini Mo and I’m allergic to them and never owned one!
I just hope the writers don’t let anything happen to it :(

Winterflowers6 · 05/11/2025 12:41

Shellingbynight · 05/11/2025 08:34

@Winterflowers6 I read a lot of Digital Spy, and sometimes Walford Web (WW info is always reliable).

The Sean O'Connor story is so long ago it's hard to trawl back to it but there are various stories still up. As far as I remember Steve McF literally walked off set and didn't reappear until SOC had left. For whatever reason, SOC did 'quit' very hurriedly.

Ah thankyou ,for that link ..very interesting

NowNumber5 · 05/11/2025 12:45

Zoe <in an offended tone>
Do you think I was texting myself?

...Uhhh, well you have form as MN would say 😄

the80sweregreat · 05/11/2025 13:03

Alfie has taken on Jeans role as ‘ the voice of reason ‘ lately. Kat looks like she’d wished she had never come back ! Tbf, even Zoe wanted to leave, but Jack and Jack and Ravi put paid to that one by shooting her by accident! ? ( always happens 🙄) lol
I bet that Ravi reminds Jack about the Dolan stitch up and he has to try and get him off the charges.
I love how Priya didn’t say ‘ what about the kids!? ‘ when he wanted to go back to Ibiza. Only worried about her bikini wax ! Lol.

the80sweregreat · 05/11/2025 13:05

Harry has made it sound as if Ravi is ‘ the boss ‘ but he isn’t is he. It is someone else , a shadowy figure we haven’t met.. unless I’m wrong ( usually am! )

murasaki · 05/11/2025 13:21

Ravi isn't the big boss, but it's quite likely that lower down the chain you don't know who it is, just who your immediate boss is, so you can't rat them in.

murasaki · 05/11/2025 13:21

So then the question is will Ravi spill.

thisoldcity · 05/11/2025 13:54

I still look forward to watching EE I must admit as others have said and when the acting is good, it can be excellent. I've watched from the very beginning so I feel invested it in somehow. A few years ago I decided to choose between EE and Corrie, and there was no question which I'd choose! I also enjoy this thread very much to see what others think.

I agree
I have a moan about it ,but I'm still here watching.
I also stopped watching Corrie about 15 years ago ,but I'm currently also watching brookside from the start ,which is great

the80sweregreat · 05/11/2025 14:23

Ravi won’t spill the beans, my prediction is he’ll get Jack and Jack involved and blackmail him over Dolan and the gun. Which is the main reason Zoe is still around and looking out for cute cats.

Shellingbynight · 05/11/2025 15:11

How come Harry is suddenly okay with telling them about Ravi. I thought he was too scared of Ravi’s Big Boss. I agree Ravi is bound to bribe Jack&Jack.

Anna asks if she delay going to Aus so she can support Kojo and Gina says no I'll look after him. She's on crutches!

Zoe apologising for her 110th lie of the week. Again.

I am even fed up with Eve and Suki. They would be terrible parents (like most of Walford!) So Suki tells Eve to stop drinking until the next adoption meeting, then ten minutes later says let's go to the Albert for a drink, are the writers even reading what they’ve written😆

There isn’t a single storyline I’m interested in.

the80sweregreat · 05/11/2025 15:23

Actually, as blunt as Norma is , she may have had a few good points around Eve being fit to parent a child.
She always runs off at the first sign of any problems and Suki has had to talk her into it.
She wasn’t tactful with her and unreasonable around Erica, but some of what she said was ‘ home truths ‘ which nobody likes hearing. I can see both sides , but their past history clouds things.
