Much better episode today ! Yes, Eve’s mum was great and so funny with the card machines too. ( new tech for EE ! Lol) Wine is expensive in pubs.
Zoe wasn’t as annoying , Julie n Phil were good ( although he didn’t even have a bag or a case on him ! )
and it all felt calmer and a bit more together today.
Even with Zoe and Anthony.
I don’t think now that Zoe is doing this , but who wouid know where the photos were to destroy?

I may start a crowd fund raiser for cctv to be put in the Vic ! They desperately need something

I think it's Jean, she is clearly struggling.

So now Zo needs a "Find My Cat' as well as a 'Find My Son' fund!

I liked Nanny Norma, good casting there.

Cannot believe George still thinks Kojo is at some car show in Cardiff, it's been over two weeks surely.
And to be OK with not having heard from him either.

Teddy went off to Cardiff and the car show to try and find them and he is lost too ! It is ridiculous isn’t it.
At least Phil rung Harry up ! He’ll probably sack them both and then forget about them .

I wonder if Eve n Suki will be able to adopt?
I know that irl they probably wouldn’t, but it makes a change from drugs storylines and missing children/ who is the daddy ones.
Suki is currently doing strictly , so I wonder if the actress has just done both or being written out in the future ? It is a 360 degree turn for Eve agreeing to this , but maybe an older child may work ( as they said today)

I'm going to watch live this evening, so haven't seen it yet. The Suki and Eve adoption is so ridiculous you would think it couldn't happen, but in 2025 Walford I suppose it could!

80s I think we should all club together to buy CCTV for the square, especially the Vic, it would solve a lot of their problems😆

What we’re seeing now was filmed early to mid September so before the SCD start date. Both shows are filmed in the same studios so Balvinder could be doing both…I think Emma Barton and Kellie Bright did double duty as well.

I also like Nanny Norma. She should stay as a permanent fixture in the Panesar house. I would like to see her interacting with Priya.
Cardiff is obviously in the middle of the Bermuda Triangle these days. Teddy has disappeared. Harry really looks in a bad way. His breathing was awful which is quite realistic if on heroin

Poor Harry.
I wish that Kojo would offer to take some drugs on a run somewhere and turn sneak off to the pub to try and get help. I know it won’t happen though ( or Oakie will send someone with him)
The side effects of class A drugs is nasty isn’t it :(

So three weeks ago Vicky had her arm broken, and today she's completely recovered, no sling, using her arm normally. Medical miracle.

The only good thing about the episode was Norma. The rest of it was Zoe going round in circles about the baby and the cat.

Mini Mo cat needs to be returned to their owner really, poor thing.
Did they say that it’s not chipped , or did I dream that one ! ? Have they even tried to find the cat’s owners ?
Im shocked nobody heard someone putting up the photos and looking for them in drawers or whatever.
Must be a ninja person to get in and out without making a noise. The twins were there Alfie said. It could be then ?

I thought that Vicky looked remarkably well too and her arm is now fine! Which is indeed a miracle considering most people end up in plaster for weeks usually and some physio. Maybe they didn’t go to Cumbria big Lourdes instead !
At least we saw her working though. Rare for anyone working in any of the many businesses around!

Speculation online that Norma will stitch Eve up.

That is a possibility. Norma did give Eve a funny look at one point, although she seemed more relaxed and positive than I had expected.

Zoe's stalker has to be Jean doesn't it? I can be bothered to put any more thought into it than that!

It does seem odd that so many main characters keep disappearing for ages ..
I don't remember this in the old days .
Are they wanting to leave ,and EE is giving them freedom so they don't ,or something
Generally in life people don't disappear for months at a time visiting someone in south Africa or America.
Maybe the actors feel they are so central to the show they can come and go ,and EE so desperate to keep them will work around any demands ..
In the old days ,Pauline flower or Pete beale didn't come and go here and there .
I understand with Eve as she's been ill...but they cant all be ill ,or in strictly or in pantomime.
Makes me feel they are taking us for fools,that basically whatever shit storyline they throw at us ,to cover a leave of absence,we will accept it , because we love the show .
Well it's wearing thin with me , getting increasingly fed up with EE ,and I'm not impressed with this new producer either.
These soap stars either want the job on EE or they don't ..

I do agree with you. I keep reading online that the one who plays Teddy wants to leave , but makes you wonder who starts these rumours or why it’s not resolved if he does. Maybe filming so far in advance doesn’t help matters or something? I’ve never known so many to just keep on disappearing like this.

Jean has a motive, access to their place and could just say she was cleaning if she was caught going down the drawers to look for the photos to destroy.
It’s sad really as I like her character , but her behavior has been irrational lately.

She has bipolar
In real life someone with bipolar most probably would have a relapse after daughter goes away , leaving a child and grandchild in their care ,and after a death of a close family member.
I had thought of the family connection between jean Stacy and Zoe ,and I wondered if they were going down a bipolar path with Zoe ..she's had a lot of trauma in her life ,so bipolar would not be a step to far

Teddy wanting to leave wouldn’t explain his absences, he would work till the end of his contract and they would continue writing for him. But I would imagine that by now he definitely wants to leave as he has nothing to do!

Phil is in Panto and Suki is in Strictly but they are still on screen. It’s Sharon, Teddy, Nicola, Kathy, Sharon who have disappeared despite being needed in a storyline. Characters are often off screen for weeks because they aren’t needed, but they don’t disappear when their absence is so glaringly obvious. One way or another, it looks like an unhappy cast.

Anyway did I imagine this? Last winter, Eve suddenly went to ‘look after her mother’ because Nish’s Men had her attacked. Yet now Eve is behaving like her mother hates her and the only mention was her not coming to the wedding. Surely she had barely recovered from the attack at that point but it wasn’t mentioned.

Yes, Norma was put into hospital by Nish’s men . Eve went up to visit her. Not sure if she was told the truth or not though.

Weirdly enough , Jumpers showed up today !
