He really is trying to distance himself from Joel .

Lovely scene with him and Kat.

He still might need some professional help with his anger , but underneath he really is quite sweet .

Is Gina still in hospital ?

She was pushed out of the way and yet has spent longer in hospital than Jasmine who had internal bleeding and needed a blood transfusion !

I thought the scenes today with Tommy and Kat was believable, moving and well acted.

Otherwise…too much of ‘Zo’. I’m hoping Michelle Ryan has a short contract.

If Gins had broken both legs and arms and was on life support she'd still be packed off home by now.

I have no idea where they are going with all this Slater stuff, and not sure I care very much. How convenient that on Halloween 2025, a tape of Halloween 1988 turns up (they didn't try very hard to find a young Jessie W lookalike did they).

Nice scenes with Tommy and Kat, but that was it.

Junior Lynne looked more like Lynne though, that wasn't a bad job. I can't see where thyre going with it either though, it can't just be a way to get Tommy to reconcile with Kat, can it? Heavy handed if so.

I thought young Kat looked very similar to current Priya.

I swear I could act better than Michelle Ryan!!! Was she always this bad?

I thought both young Lynn and young Little Mo were well cast and looked like their adult actresses. Who was the other younger girl apart from Zoe?

Did neither Charlie nor Harry know Zoe was Harry's? Or did Charlie know and Harry didn't?

I actually think it may be Anthony trying to scare Zoe into running back to him. But noone would suspect the gentle manly doctor, now would they?

Is Belinda the other sister?

I wonder too if Antnee is doing all this. Or maybe Freddie ?
it’s been weird week and I can’t say I’m invested in any of it. Jean was strange too, who stops a mother from seeing her sick child ? It seems so disjointed and a bit off. New writers maybe ?

Yes. There was Belinda, Lynn, Kat and Little Mo. But in the video from Halloween 1988, there were 6 females. One could have been Viv, their mum. So I suppose with Zoe that makes 6. But I just remember one other girl that looked young like Zoe. So wasn't sure who that was 🤔

Viv was in the video, the actress who played her was credited. No idea where the writers are going with this.

Random and disjointed tonight.

They did the whole Slater story for ages years ago. Poor Kat had to relive her past and Zoe was told everything about her upbringing. They even did Redwater about the boy twin , it really doesn’t need to be resurrected again and having Antnee back who hasn’t got a job and probably spooking Zoe is just boring and unnecessary too.

Watching the video made Kat tell Tommy about Zoe and what happened to her. I suppose it ties into the Joel story and a way for him to understand the family dynamics around Zoe’s parentage and how it was handled.
It’s been very clunky, most people find old videos in the attic and don’t have someone around to find an old vhs recorder for them to play it on!
Jean is being particularly horrible and wasn’t at all rational around Charli either. That wound me up , she can be so manipulative, again clunky scripts :(

That's what I noticed most about this episode . Is he now cutting the umbilical cord that tethered him to Joel ? Getting rid of his incel curtains hair ?

Oscar step away from Jasmine she is nasty and up to no good . But now she's moved into Cindys room .........
And of course the fake post trauma injury .

I cannot help but fear for Charli now . Antnee has decreed she is "fine" just "overheating" and "listen....... (quiet)....that's the sound of a healthy sleeping child^

Well that;s her lined up for a swift traumatic A&E admission.

There was a horror film out years ago called ‘ single white female ‘ where the woman tries to take over her landladies life bit by bit ( or something like that ) and I wonder if Jasmine is going to do this to Cindy ?

I still can't believe Peter agreed to let Jasmine stay in Cindy's room without asking either Lauren or Cindy herself - I mean the house was given to Lauren by Sonia wasn't it 😯

Where has Cindy disappeared to anyway? Surely they have phones wherever she has gone?!?

Cindy is on a very long holiday isn't she. Her daughter was knocked down by a car but no interest from Cindy (I suppose that's fairly typical).

Nothing really happened this week did it? We are no further forward than we were a week ago, except Tommy now knows about Uncle Harry. You could skip 90% of these episodes and it wouldn't matter.

If Zoe is having a psychotic break could she please get it over with so we can move on.
