The photo looked like it had red playdough on it. Not even ketchup.

I did read that Letitia Dean being away to care for her mum has made this particular story line a bit more problematic as she was meant to be involved a lot more, so I suppose this is why it’s a bit all over the place and why Vicki is now involved.
I am surprised that Zoe hasn’t reminded her mum of all the ‘ scams’ Alfie has done historically, including causing her to be scarred by starting fires and losing money , but she did mention Cherry and Hayley tbf.
I’m not sure why she doesn’t tell them who is the dad. If it’s Antnee , he is around and wouldn’t be much of a shock. Which makes me think that it’s possibly Alfie !

Antnee serves zero purpose other than to hover in the background when Zoe is near. So he must be the daddy.

Why did Zoe say ( what feels like years ago now!) that her big secret ‘ will tear the family apart’
Telling Kat the truth now won’t make much difference.
She should have kept her on side more , she could have helped out with the PI fees. Sharon won’t be paying out for anything now. Instead she has alienated everyone

I thought it could have been Alfie too, for a fleeting moment. Especially given the way he keeps telling Kat to go easy on Zoe and not push her away 🤔

Jasmine may be a Zoe ‘ red herring ‘ and she is after Cindy. I’m surprised that Elaine is keeping her on.
Considering she could hire staff easily enough, why kept her on when she hasn’t provided the relevant details and documentation?

It’s truly miraculous that Jasmine was back at work and then able to hop on a bus home a couple days after being mown down by a car. I noticed she bore the brunt of the hit as she pushed Gina out of the way, perhaps they are half sisters after all..

The Tim guy is almost cartoonishly dodgy. WTF was that about him already creating business cards for Johnny and just giving him £5K upfront for ‘expenses’. That is not how an investor works. It’s really impossible to believe Johnny is actually a legal professional, he is so incredibly thick. And Callum who is meant to be Detective not seeing any red flags either; just standing by smiling like the village idiot.

Oh no, please no more "incestuous" storylines 🫣

I'm amazed there hasn't been an inquiry into how often Albert Square residents end up at Walford General.
Wasn't it just last month Zoe was shot, then Vicki was beaten up so badly she was hospitalised, and then both Gina and Jasmine were in there!

Zoe’s acting is so wooden it’s embarrassing.

Junior has been axed (not sure I would have even noticed he's gone)

As daft as Alfie is surely he would do the maths though.

That’s a shame about Junior. He’s a good actor but he hasn’t had a storyline since the affair was exposed and they don’t seem to know what to do with him. I heard Anna make a comment about saving money for a trip to Australia so hopefully that will be her off soon. Please can she take Freddie with her.

Junior has been deadwood for a while and never did anything for me on any level so I'm glad they've got rid of the actor. Although the current boss hasn't in general done a great job since he started earlier this year, I'm glad he's axed the superfluous characters - Junior, Freddie, Bernie, Anna and Felix.

I agree the axings are probably the one thing this producer has done right. Junior was a one plot character, the affair with Cindy.

80s I think Zoe doesn't name the dad so that they can drag this out as long as possible. TPTB seemed to think Dennis not being the dad would be a 'bombshell'. Zoe's lies can be categorised as either 'revenge' or 'nonsensical plot reasons'.

Way way too much Alfie in this episode.

So Jasmine is completely cured now, not even bothering to wince a bit. And moving into Cindy's room so she can rifle through her drawers. Cindy is on a very long holiday (like 50% of the cast).

What is supposed to be the problem in the cellar, they haven’t really said and it seemed to be an excuse for Ross to pick up a box with the video in it.

Zoe is behaving the same way as she has during her entire return yet suddenly Antnee is diagnosing her with psychosis. She just seems like a miserable mare.

The problem in the cellar is flooding from the pipe which was opened up for cat-rescue. The VHS was a damp squib, wasn’t it?

And who needs psychiatrists when you’ve got Antnee down the pub? Mind you I did feel momentarily sorry for him when Zoe had a tantrum about his perfectly reasonable question around paternity. How many potential dads are there?

Suddenly Dr Antnee remembers he’s a doctor (who never does any doctoring).

A leak from the soil pipe didn’t make sense, they said the pipe had been ‘spraying water all night’, a soil pipe wouldn’t spray water. And a soil pipe leak would mean they were wading about in shit, literally! (I still think that's a metaphor for the scripts😆)

Yeah, there’s not a lot that’s making sense! Are they going to eke out the Zoe’s baby story until Christmas? Because it does feel as though they are marking time right now.

I honestly think Zoe will be attacked at Xmas and it will be another whodunnit. We’ve had Vicki shouting that she’s destroyed her family and will pay, Jean has also developed a (completely irrational and out of character ) hatred of her and said to Kat the other day “you’d better watch her, someone will teach her a lesson soon” or words to that effect. Then there’s Jasmine who I’m praying will not still be around by Xmas with her awful acting but she will be one of the suspects.

I can see a few suspects lined up to attack Zoe!
They are not happy at Christmas unless someone dies/ falls in the sea or ends up in hospital.

Someone usually mutters ‘ best Christmas ever’ before it all goes a bit nuts.

Whoever declares they are going to have the “best Christmas evahhhh” is guaranteed to end up dead, attacked, jilted or distraught after finding out their partner has cheated on them with a relative or close friend.
