Or he could be getting in a defence about how difficult it became to lie, because he got caught out lying 🤔

Wossy said something about it gets harder being a traitor the longer you are in as you are having to lie - implying that he's in it for a while yet.

I think if Ruth goes then rather than putting a spotlight on Jonathan, it could put one on Cat because she will be the only early career one left

Did anyone notice Tom's picks on Uncloaked were mostly women? And that he didn't seem to like Wossy much...

Clare is the one only who seems to think Alan is up to anything! I don’t understand why they all went for Tameka. I didn’t see uncloaked last night , I need to try and watch that.

I like Ruth. I think initially the first conversation about alliances (followed by JR voting for Nico) made her at least question JR slightly, which she brought up at breakfast (I think?) But it was the doubling down of JR in denying that he’d ever said that which solidified her belief that he may be a traitor, or at least someone she’d like to get rid of based on duplicity. I don’t think that’s flawed logic - I think it’s pretty sensible.

Sadly I reckon she’ll be the murdered celebrity and JR will think if he spins it as a bluff it will suffice - I’m not so sure!

I think it’s pretty sensible logic as well, especially as NT one-we-all-trust, Clare Balding emphatically backed her up. Clare didn’t back down at all. (Loved the red blouse on her).

I hope Ruth is gone, as I find her really annoying. Just seems aggressive, rather than assertive

I wonder how the cars thing works. There are 5 cars, and it sounds like the hotel is quite a way a way from the castle, so they must somehow tell the celebs in random order when they're leaving in the evening, and drive tem individually back, then come back for the others, which would take ages and leave quite a lot of room to manipulate who gets left together alone or in small groups. Unless there are a lot more cars available in reality! I suppose they don't have to be the fancy black ones in the evening, so that's probably more likely, and maybe they only leave 5 minutes apart.

We never hear their morning conversations in the cars, so either they aren't filmed or aren't allowed to talk about it in the car.

It's illogical to think anyone could form an alliance with anyone before the traitors are chosen because they have no idea if the people they want to form an alliance with would be faithfuls or traitors.

He's awful and not fun to watch, not even fun to dislike. I don't really like Wossy much either but he's more entertaining than Tom.

Remember Paul in S2? Absolutely LOVED to "hate" him, in a panto villain sort of way, and he even took a bow when he left!

i did not get why Mark went for tameka. made no sense. hope he is out next. sorryI know there is a lot of love for him. but I am team JM/rugbyguy.

I'm glad Tom's gone. He just seemed mean, vain and boring. I like Johnathan but he seems to be smirking a bit too much so he might give himself away.

I noticed that, I also wonder if some unconscious racism kicks in when they start voting as well…

I’ll be honest, I never really like Joe (comic) on Countdown. I find him a bit irritating and just don’t ‘get’ him. However, loving the Joe double act on Traitors. So much for the Big Dogs. It’s the Two Joes everyone has to watch out for.

I actually would have liked Tom to stay in a bit longer, just to get to know him more. We only see his persona on tv. It would be good to see him a bit more in everyday life , how people react to him etc.

Didn't they say something like -they are taken to their individual lodgings? I assumed they all stay in different places 🤷‍♀️

I don't understand the trials/challenges that they have to do. I appreciate they add money to the prize fund but I don't see any value in helping them work out who the traitors are.

I mentioned this earlier... Nobody can say it, but there's always a minority woman amongst the original Traitors. I don't object to this; Traitors are more likely to win and have more power and I think it's good to spread those stats across a broad demographic and try to make it as fair, at a cross section level, as possible. Plus it's better TV. But it does mean that by this point, now everyone knows that happens, the minority women who are Faithful are at a disadvantage.
