This is our tenth anniversary of sharing our thoughts on Our Girl series one and have subsequently watched the other three series, followed by Soldier Soldier, The Musketeers, Spooks and Hustle so thought it was time to try something different. Oh good a little progress in the Bertie Edith relationship it seems

Bertie has proposed. Oh dear, he doesn't yet know about Marigold!

Ah, Bertie proposes and Edith is delighted. She just has a little bit of a complicated past.

Well, that's all folks for now. I assume we are now taking a break until the 7th of January, seeing as the next two Wednesdays are Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Hopefully, we'll all be knee deep in Baileys and Mince Pies instead 😀

Well there we are another episode with many facets. Violet in the Med, tragedy on the track, Mrs P running a B & B, Andy going to be taught to read, Moleseley a teacher and Lord G with a new puppy to name but a few.

Oh what a lovely episode!

I can give the Baileys a miss but I do make a mean mince pie, though I say so myself.

Yes, got to admit, that although I always consider Baileys a bit of a Christmas thing, it's too much of a pudding for me. I can never sip it and it's far too easy to drink more than you think of it rather quickly, so I don't usually buy it!

As a matter of fact, DD and I were not too impressed with the Christmas Day TV offerings and decided to watch the series 2 Christmas finale of Downton when Matthew proposes to Mary. It's classic Christmas TV to us, so we enjoyed that.
