I’m just posting to moan really about how annoying the constant representing of the place you come from ie Vicky who literally every time she speaks can’t seem to stop banging on about how proud she is to be Geordie. She’s prob been advised to, to help get the north eastern vote & for her “narrative”. And it’s sweet Kai is half Geordie too. And no disrespect to Newcastle it’s an amazing place which I spent 4 happy years living in. It just seems a bit scripted & relentless. Like does it really matter for your dancing?! Bah humbug of me but…! She is full of nervous energy so it could be that but I just find it a bit distracting & irrelevant after the point.
On a more positive note I just read that Alex is an ovarian cancer survivor and went through it only last year! Just cementing my admiration for her even more! Has it been made a storyline by the show? I may be v late to the party (as it were) on this one.
