Apparently he was scammed he thought he was talking to some "self help" guru on instagram and it was a fake . His ego is so huge he probably deserved it ! Imagine dumping your family to find yourself what an idiot.

Week 3 is far too early for couple’s choice. I think the absolute earliest is the week before Halloween.

Another Couple’s Choice which was very good was Faye from Steps and Giovanni’s Jazz to Fever. This was when CC was either jazz, contemporary or street.

I enjoyed Punam and Gorka last year too.

I dislike movie week and musicals week so I’m quite glad to be out with friends on Saturday.

I really like Halloween 🧙 though! I said that on the thread last year and very few agreed with me 😆 It is my favourite week.

I love Halloween week i know it is silly and ott but I don't care 😀 I prefer musical week to movie week, Movie week dances are usually a stretch

Chris is in trouble with Sweet Child as a Paso (dread to think how the singers will handle that!) and I think they’re lining Ross up for a fall too with the Thunderbirds theme! Amber & Nikita is probably going to be hideously saccharine, high hopes for the foxtrot from Alex & JoJo.

I know they are generally, but this seems like a big change even for them.

Faye and Giovanni's. The only time a Strictly celeb has really 'got' Fosse.

Actually, apart from Joe whatsit with Katya when they did a samba to 'Money'.

@xsquared I saw him and Dianne on ITT last night and they said he'll be dressed as Princess Fiona's dad (sorry I don't know the characters name) which I thought was a bit random. Shrek would surely be the more obvious choice.

A couples choice so early is stupid! It should be earned and given later on in the comp.
I hate it when it's done in a themed week, because depending.on the theme it can really ruin a dance.

Absolutely no idea how they are going to weave a sob story into that, which does at least leave me hopeful that it's not going to be emotionally manipulative for once. That's one of my major CC issues, along with how the hell are the judges supposed to judge something with no fixed criteria?

Princess Fiona’s dad just looks like an older ‘white’ man, grey hair, male pattern baldness.

I’m not sure how reliable the pictures I’m seeing online, though, as King Harold and Queen Lilian both have white skin but the pictures online show Princess Fiona (sometimes) with green skin. She certainly did in the production I worked on backstage last year.

If anyone is spared green makeup I’d think they should be very pleased.

it's not up to the celebrity, though, is it? it's the producers who choose the dances.

judging from George's face "Sunday" night, he doesn't look very thrilled at the song choice.

Oh that's a relief! I hate it when a celeb has been so obviously stitched up with a ridiculous costume and novelty record. See Pete Wicks and pink trouser gate, and Greg Wise with the ruffles and Macarena.

On the other hand, Balvinder, Jimmy and Vicky will probably look dapper and glamorous with their film choices. As long as Jimmy's trousers fit properly this time!

There will be plenty of parents with childrwn if all ages, who will not have escaped KPop Demon Hunters!

George is popular though, so I wouldn't worry just yet about him.

I think with Movie and Musical Weeks you get some votes from people just because it’s a song from their favourite movie or musical. Nothing to do with how good it was.

Though from what I remember couples choice has been at least something to do with the celeb before...cheis dancing to never walk alone was it? And I'm sure others??

Or at least not introduce them until half way through when they have been learning for a couple of months and remove contempowaft from the options list.

I’m struggling to remember most of them and Rose aside, those I remember best are the theatre jazz offerings.

I think it has become more apparent of late that Coyple's Choice was probably NOT couple's choice at all.

Katya and Nigel's song was definitely not their choice. He said "The song chose us" in on ITT, which was probably code for they had it foisted on them.
