I liked Tom Chambers. I don't think I knew at the time that he was a ringer, and now it's so long ago it doesn't mater. His show dance was excellent IIRC. I remember how thrilled Camila always seemed to be dancing with him. I guess she'd had a run of duffers.

@Thmssngvwlsrnd A lot of people say that about Danny Mac, oddly I don’t remember him that well or what series he was, who was in his cohort?

Oddly two of my least favourite professionals over the years. I’m not even sure why I took against them, I’m sure both are fine in real life. It wasn’t influenced by any opinion from DH - he would have scooped his eyeballs out with a blunt spoon before watching Strictly!

Ed Balls, Louise Redknapp, Ore - he went on to win it. I couldn't stand him as he seemed to be fake crying every week.

@C8H10N4O2 Ola just used to make the dance all about herself and would dance around the man like he was a lamppost. She got accused of bullying by Steve Backshall.

Camilla I kind of felt sorry for because of the Brendan brouhaha

@Thmssngvwlsrnd oh! I hate to tell you I voted for Ore he seems to have dropped off the face of the earth though, haven’t seen him on anything in a long time

I forgive you, lol. I just couldn't take to him.

Oh Ore. Loved him at the time but don't remember a single one of his dances now.
My favourite moment of that final was how happy Kevin From Grimsby Clifton was for his sister winning.

Danny & Otti's American Smooth is probably my favourite ever Strictly dance. But I didn't vote for him and I don't think he was robbed, coz ringer.

felt sorry for Harry and Karen as I doubt they were in the bottom.

Small swerve, but those of you who love Kenny Daglish (and yes, I mean him) and who have Netflix, he has a lovely little cameo in the last or penultimate episode of a Norwegian comedy drama called "Pernille". I'd recommend it even if you don't love Kenny, but, especially if you do.

No, it seems like an odd format change; I couldn't see the point.

They’ve also changed the elimination music. That was one of the best bits of the show. 🤣

Strictly needed a bit of a refresh but the changes just tinkered around the edges.

The results show was all over the place, disjointed. I’ll just watch on catch up in future and scroll through.

I wonder if the powers that be have seen the online backlash and will maybe tweak the changes a bit. I'm thinking specifically of two couples not getting a Claudia chat or next dance/music reveal.

Do like the different judge having the casting vote element though. It hopefully saves any favouritism.

I saw him on stage last week. He was brilliant.

Think the new rule of a different head judge each week probably may affect 2-3 couples per series
