Totally agree and I think everyone shouting ‘misogynist’ at Ashley needs to look up the definition because he’s not done or said anything which indicates that he dislikes, despises or is strongly prejudiced against women.

Yes he’s said he was brought up in a ‘traditional’ household but I’ve never even heard him say he expects his wife to be a SAHM and give up her career to cook and clean for him. There are thousands of women who would love to do just that and Grace’s reactions to some of his comments are way out of proportion.

As you say she’s either ND or has suffered some type of previous trauma.

I looked at Dean's Insta yesterday and when he was thin he had a really pretty girlfriend! Must be the one he was nasty to. Is it the same one someone saw online saying good things? Or is there another he has deleted from his accounts...?

I can’t believe they’ve bullied Sarah so badly into trying to like Dean. It’s so awkward watching her try to put on a smiley face, then the mask slips and her face drops. When they did the sex toys/massage class, she said, “It’s just what we needed,” and her face immediately fell. Yuck.

I’m a feminist, and I find Grace batshit. She’s way too OTT…if men are kind to you, it’s misogyny? She would really struggle with the male/female dynamics of maternity leave, etc.

Exactly - he blamed his skinny for being a dick, we can see that's just him and his mates as they are. I'm still seething his friend staring Sarah down because she hadn't kissed him - he knew it was her straight away not even a pause when Dean said they were behind on the intimacy, straight at evil eyeing her.

I do think it’s possible to not fancy someone based on first impression of looks alone, but change your opinion when you get to know them. And the other way around too.
However in this case it’s not just his looks she doesn’t like, it’s his whole personality and there’s no coming back from that.

It's sad the experts didn't actually help him with his personality though. Why did they ignore how irritating it would be 24/7 and also not give Paul with Anita any help on communicating like a grown up? Is it just the women who get told they aren't doing it right? So many missed opportunities for actual psychology and all wasted in misguided efforts to look like it's OK to be rapping instead of talking about emotions or to be single for 11yrs because you can't hold a conversation. What's the point?

@FirstCuppa agree, although Grace is an exception because they seem fond of lecturing Ashley on how to tiptoe round her more carefully.

I'm sure they won't keep that up for long. She'll be told she isn't allowed icks soon enough to keep her in line.

@greengreyblue I agree, I reckon that if it’s not happening by three weeks in it ain’t ever happening. But I suppose these people get so invested in the group and the process that they don’t want to drop out.
