the actor playing Jasmine is clearly female as is tiny and does not have an Adan’s Apple.
If the character of jasmine were to be trans in this current climate it would be a trans actor ( a biological make presenting as a female) playing her 💯 percent

But she isn’t pulling it off soap villain wise.
Shes not attractive enough -in a literal sense physically (think Sharon, Kat Cindy or Stacy) ; charismatically with depth or nuance ( think pat, Peggy, frank, grant ; or layered in a way that is intriguing to watch ( think Phil, Denise, Suki, even Ian ) that creates any level of investment for viewers I don’t think.
She is supposed to be bringing ‘hard hitting main character energy’ But with her smudged eye liner, crap bra and saggy knitted jumper, short jeans and Chelsea boots and she’s massively missing the mark.
I also think the actress is up against having been a bit of a stunner back in the day and now being like a lot of is , a frumpy mumsy lumpkin.
I personally think the stylists should have done a ‘Kat/Pat/Peggy/sharon/nicola’ on her -‘ mutton dressed as lamb east end tough woman’ on her to be able to pull off
the character off as it feels out of kilter- as her drabness doesn’t work in soap land I feel.

Agree there’s something very irritating about Zoe’s pasty face and drab hair.. also the way Kat fawns over her all the time

Zoe needs a day trip Up West and down the salon.after a thorough scrub in the shower.

And a bonfire for her drab brown jumper.

Yes that's the right word - drab! Soap villains cannot get away with drab. She definitely doesn't hit the villain mark, she is just miserable and narky. I really don't know where they are going with this, is she going to be 'villain' for a few months, find her son, and be transformed?

And as for the assumption she and Kat are making about 'finding her son, bringing him back where he belongs'... Maybe he has a very nice life and is perfectly happy, what makes them think he will welcome the car crash that is Zoe into his life.

I don’t mind Cindy. Her affair with junior was a bit rank , but she is an iconic character and it was good to see her back.

I think that they have made Zo a bit drab because she’s been drinking a lot and now just obsessed with finding her son. She will probably be ok on time, but for now she is just annoying and far too snappy

They've been reading our posts on here and Zo's ditched the jumpers and had a wash 🙌
Plus, they said 'Picky bits', there's definitely a MNetter among the EE writers 😂

Strange that Peta never told Penny about the surprise wedding.

I suspect he knew Penny would think it was a duff idea and warn Lauren.

That was a really boring episode, although I am getting to like Lauren, I think they are writing her more sympathetically nowadays. (Surely Penny did know about the wedding, that was why she insisted on keeping Lauren away from home?)

Zoe has had a wash and got the leather jacket out, but she still looks somehow wrong. Maybe she's meant to.

The Stacey stuff is boring because we know she's going. At least Max's arrival might liven things up a bit.

Yes it was boring which is why didn’t comment on it earlier. I was irritated by the nonsensical story that’s building up of Stacey leaving her 15 year old daughter and her daughter’s toddler in London whilst Stacey stays in Brazil just because she needs a break. But I do like Penny and I hope she’s featured more in future episodes.

I agree about Stacey. She keeps saying she 'cant keep walking past Martin's stall' but I don't believe she would go and live in Brazil at all, never mind without Lily. And they never really addressed the fact that it was Stacey's fault he died because she kept wittering on at him endlessly and wouldn't let him leave a collapsing building. A month in London seemed to cure her guilt and no one knows what really happened.

Stacey was responsible for the death of Bradley and Martin, both of whom she also treated shabbily when they were alive, the actress does a great job of making us forget that!

Omg Zoe’s ditched the baggy jumper and slapped on some red lippy!

agree Jasmine cant be trans, is so clearly a woman. she sems to have an issue with Cindy so its got too be something about that backstory. If she is trans mind, I am so done with EE, I need a break from all the BBC brainwashing.

Jasmine is doing a lot of turning away and making a serious face when talking about Cindy.

I don't know how good an actress Jasmine is, it's hard to know what she is supposed to be transmitting with these 'looks'. Also hard to care.

I agree it's very hard to care and almost comical. Is she trying to do Dr Evil?

Lauren did look lovely!
wow. Bit of an entrance for her dad there. Apparently Cindy has a pop at him over Steven dying and so on.

Nice chat today with Lauren and Stacey.
I thought that was well done.

Lily saying to Stacey re Brazil that she has to put herself first sometimes is a laugh. I love Stacey but she has frequently put herself first over the years. The whole Brazil thing is daft. Why would Sean want his sister and her child to go all the way there to help set up a new business? He wouldn’t.

I loved Lauren’s dress.

I always forget about Stephen and Abi (and baby Abi). Max has a lot of catching up to do.

I enjoyed today's episode.
Lauren looked beautiful.
Nice to see a lot more of the rest of the cast instead of just the Zoe/Kat/Stacey gang, as we have had lately.
Nasty Nic back to her villainous ways.
Hopefully Harry can get back to being BFF with Kojo now.
Oscar still steals the scenes for me, he is a lovable rogue!
Where is "Baby" Abi now? Is she with Rainie and Stuart?
