There are a few traditional launderettes around where I live. I’ve seen a few at petrol stations , but they look a bit minging. We also have a cab office at the station , but there is a bit of an uproar that Uber want to move in the area ..

No-one on the square lives in the modern world. Why was Ross sitting on a bench trying to CALL places to find a flat when a normal person would book into the nearest cheap Travelodge or Holiday Inn (there are loads in East London) and look online. He was then sleeping on the square bench but if he has no money for a hotel room how was he proposing to pay a deposit for the flat he was trying to find?

Shame Stacey isn't around to tell him how to rent a flat at short notice with no money.

I know Phil is on holiday but you'd think eventually he'd hear from someone that the garage isn't open and want to find out where Harry is.

There is a wonderful laundrette close to my house. And the woman who runs it reminds me of Dot Cotton! Also a few car lots but they look a lot more professional than Lauren's two bit set-up.

There are at least 2 or 3 laundrettes in my local high street

Where has Max gone?!

Max has gone back to wherever he was before. We saw him leaving in his car after Stacey binned him off. He'll be back later this year, probably December.

Wonder what the big story for Xmas will be?

It hasn’t been revealed yet, but Steve McFadden said it’s going to be a sad one so I think Nigel will die. Also guessing that Zoe will be reunited with one or both of her adult children.

I hope Max stays in whatever hole he crawled out of tbh. Can't stand the creep!

Also not loving the brief cameos of all these old characters. Why can't the script writers just concentrate on the characters they already have?

Steve Mcfadden is in panto again this year. I'm not sure he will feature much in the Eastenders Christmas story.
It will definitely be the Slaters, the new producer wants them at the front of everything

They film six to eight weeks ahead, so he will definitely be featured in EE this Christmas.

Yes Christmas and new years is possibly being filmed now, or all done and dusted. The panto has been in rehearsals for some time, he is great though and possibly able to juggle it all. It definitely explains his current getaway to Portugal

The writers and new producers seem to be stuck in the past, I agree that they should concentrate on new people a bit more. I can imagine it’s hard if the actors want or need time off though.

I’m very excited to be seeing Steve Mcfadden in Panto this year (misses point of thread!) 😁

I’m not sure I could cope seeing Phil out of character in a pantomime. It was hard enough watching the Kimfluencer on the Traitors and her not being the actual Kimfluencer in real life!

Not everyone uses Uber. I don’t because I don’t like them. I use local taxi companies. Just like Kat’s firm.

He is excellent. It's like watching Phil in panto, like he is playing both characters, with a dash of himself included. It's hard to explain but he really is great at panto

It's like those documentaries Ross Kemp does (we watched one about Bellmarsh Prison) . He is 100% Ross Kemp but you keep seeing Grant Mitchell .
