Even a deposit of £100k wouldn’t get Ravi far as he’d still need a huge mortgage to get a house in East London and he is unemployed? Suki is on her own so they can all move back in with her and conveniently forget she tried to take Avani’s baby…

Re Jasmine, she said she didn’t want to join the “family business” and Elaine immediately sussed it is a criminal family so I’m now leaning towards the Foster gangster theory and some kind of revenge plot.

Lol at Kat and Sharon both remembering Dennis popping into the Vic to see Zoe after she said she miscarried Den’s baby. How anyone would remember something random like that 20 years after the fact is beyond me.

Sharon was besotted with Dennis and I can well believe her remembering every little thing about him and what went on tbh! She really was heartbroken when he was killed.

I can believe Sharon remembering every detail, but not Kat. She said she remembered Zoe and Dennis going upstairs together - nah. The writers can scroll through that episode to remind themselves but Kat can't!

It was the last day that Kat saw Zoe. I think she would remember exactly what happened. If a child of mine was leaving and I'd possibly not see them for a while or ever again, then I'd remember every detail.

I couldn't tell you in that type of detail anything that happened 20 years ago, maybe it's just me.🤷🏻‍♀️ It wasn't the last time she saw Zoe though, she said she last saw her 10 years ago, she went to visit her.

I don't think there was any type of detail, it was just a yes he did visit. I know what people are saying though, and I agree that I can hardly remember certain things from last week, let alone 20 years ago. I do know I can remember who was there etc in big memories up to 30 years ago. I would think the day Zoe left was quite significant to Kat, surely she would remember that Zoe went off with someone rather than spend that time with her. I'd have to rewatch the episode to see how it was portrayed. Out of interest has anyone on here rewatched the episode?

The last time I ever saw my mother was only last year and I could not reliably tell you what happened that day because I mix up that visit with previous visits. Then again it wasn't quite as exciting as an EastEnders plot 😂

i was wondering what they were going to do with Lexi with Jay being sacked and Ben still being in prison.

If Callum leaves ben for Johnny, will she end up with Billy & Honey permenantly?

also.. has the entire trueman clan & extras forgotten about the existence of Kims kids?

Kim's kids have vanished. There was a cute shot of Raymond and Chelsea's son (name escapes me) at Patrick and Yolande's wedding but I don't recall seeing Pearl and Micah. There have been several scenes with the entire Trueman family in the pub and no mention of where those kids are.

If Kat does remember Dennis stopping by and going upstairs to see Zoe, is it really credible that in the space of that visit he slept with her, just after the Den revelations. "Ok I've just found out you slept with my dad and were planning to pass his kid off as mine. Never mind, let's have sex" I don't think Kat believes any of it but she is so desperate to keep Zoe on side she is going along with anything she says.

Babies are only any good on soaps for ‘ who’s the daddy ‘ stories or traumatic births or the baby being ill or whatever, once they grow up then it’s a big problem and you may see them again aged 13!
Agree that Lexi needs a bit of stability now Jay has left and Ben is away , but she’ll probably dob Callum in about Johnny.

I think it was just assumed Hope and Arthur would of course go with her. They don't get a choice, whereas Lily is old enough to have plots of her own have a say.

Linda is due a big fine for taking her two out of school for so long, but I suppose we won’t even see them once she returns with a tan.
Kim was worried about Pearl’s education once, but we don’t see her two either!
At least they will have some space at the slaters once Stacey and two of them move out!

I guess Jean, Mo, Lily (Charli) and Zoe will still live in Stacey's house. Maybe Zoe will get a job instead of stomping around with a cob on. Or maybe Max will move in with them🙃

That would be burt ,who was nearly 70 ,when he was in EE nearly 20 years ago when Pauline fowler was in it .
Pretty sure Burt would of died years ago ,and jay had no other family after his dad jace died and jay ended up living with billy

It does sound like Nigel's death. An unrealistically quick death but that always happens in soaps.

I wonder what they will do about Jay, will they just never mention him again now.
