I’m surprised that Elaine asked for any ID or paperwork! It must be significant to even be mentioned as usually it’s not.

I've not actually watched it in a few days ..just happy reading on here the spoilers .
I've got a bit fed up with it
Much preferring the older episodes..Sean has kidnapped Amy after finding out jack is her dad ..they are all going for a swim in lake when I next watch ..which I'm really looking forward to watching
But I'm not looking forward to watching current episodes .
Kojo and drugs makes me feel uncomfortable..
I quite enjoyed the episodes where Barney found out Zac was his dad ..I enjoy seeing Nicola and jumpers and family ..but they haven't been on much .
Phil is under used ..him and Sharon need to get back behind the bar of queen Vic as king and Queen of Walford

I think that Sharon and Phil should be together, but I doubt that they will now. He’ll always feel second place to Grant. I do want Kat and Alfie to stay together through all this new angst. They both deserve a break

I think Sharon and Phil might bond over Nigel but it'll take time. She's a bit distracted at the moment what with St Dennis's son.

I don’t know where people are getting ‘throuple’ from, I didn’t see that at all! I don’t know if the Demi thing is going anywhere, or if it was just to push Pe Tah a surprise wedding which I doubt Lauren will be thrilled about. Anyway surely you can’t do surprise weddings, the other person has to know about it!

Re Zoe’s jumpers, they just look really grim for some reason, she looks faintly grubby. There are other female characters who look ‘ordinary’ with little noticeable makeup and presentable ordinary clothes - Stacey, Lauren, Eve, Jean, Lily, Kathy, Avani. Stacey in particular does a good job of ‘ordinary mum’. When she wore the black hoody of doom after Martin's death it fitted her state of mind so we understood it. But we have only ever seen Zoe in these horrible jumpers, snarling at everyone.

Surprise and wedding are 2 words that should never be put together. It must be the worst suggestion ever

Just caught up. Johnny’s birthday party was so strange, there were no guests apart from sullen Callum and Gina.

Zoe looks a state but at least they’ve moved her on from standing outside the house, slurping a mug of tea in the dressing gown of doom. They have given her some good lines when she insults Vicki and Sharon. I loved her comment last week about Vicki dressing like it’s 2002😂

Zoe's pyjamas are from Amazon. I had a pair a few years ago.

Jean always looks good and not always dressed up , but just clean and tidy. Zoe hasn’t been in a good place lately though.

@Autumnpug7 I've just watched the one where Roxy and Sean get married.
Funny thing is Peat-Ah (Thomas Law) was a much better actor in his teens than he is now 😄

Is Max back on the screen next week then? I hope this will trigger the return of Linda.

That was a great episode..I love the car the do a lap of the square in ,with Roxy stood up in her dress ..would love one of those cars

It's interesting you say that about Thomas Law because I remembered him as the best Peter, yet he is now so rubbish! Funny how that happens. There are/were a couple of actors on Corrie who were great as 8 year olds but seemed to lose all their acting ability when they grew up.

Max is back on Tuesday. Just in time for Lauren's wedding (that she doesn't want). Linda's in Sweden now... getting closer!

@Shellingbynight are you tracking Linda around the globe like kids track Santa on Christmas eve? 😂
I was really surprised how good young TL is as Peat-Ah, yet he is so awful now.
It was funny watching these episodes because it shows young Lauren and Peat-Ah dating, which is what he said to Demi the other day.

@Autumnpug7 it must be one of the more successful weddings on EE as no one died on the day, just your average hair pulling scrap between the two sisters before the vows!
Yes, that open topped car was fabulous.
Christian's comments to Roxy were funny.

😂Maybe they should put a map up in the Vic of Linda's travels! Johnny said she was in Stockholm last week, she must have spent half the Vic money on that cruise.

Speaking of which, why is Jack&Jack selling the flat+house to Elaine? He doesn't need to as the gun issue has been resolved and Ravi can't blackmail him.

I must have glazed over at the mention of their current whereabouts because I don't remember Johnny sausage saying that 🙈

I suppose JackandJack selling it to Elaine solves the logistics of where they'll all live when the cruise liner finally docks.

And yet another wedding organised within a couple of days of mentioning it!
Though I suppose Oscar can pitch in, and pull a wedding out of the bag, like he did for Patrick and Yolande, including a full steel band despite only showing up in the square a few weeks prior and knowing nobody! 😅

The writers have forgotten that Ravi and Jack now have an uneasy truce around the gun problem being solved by stitching up Dolan.
Maybe he now wants the money for himself rather than Ravi? Or is Ravi still holding him to ransom?
At least Elaine and Linda can stay on the square this way so it’s probably being done for this reason rather than just the money ? Who knows ! 🤷‍♀️

One good child actor I can think of who retained excellent acting skills is Corrie’s David Platt. He was a natural as a child.

The tracking device for Linda would be pink and flamingo shaped!
This cruise must be costing thousands of pounds , luckily they are all loaded ( it seems)

Natalie Cassidy might count too.

It’s not clear if Ravi still expects the £100k? Where are he, Pryia and the kids going to live if the flat is sold? £100k won’t buy you a cupboard in East London.

Not as young as the others mentioned but Lacey Turner was 16 when she was cast to play Stacey.
She has been consistently brilliant and still holds her own.
I will miss her when she (finally!) goes on mat leave!

Yes David Platt was a brilliant child actor and equally brilliant adult.

I don't know how Ravi could continue to blackmail Jack, his only leverage was the gun. So why would Jack still give him the money? Although I don't know what he expected to buy with £100k. He isn't going to be getting a mortgage, he can't exactly put 'drug dealer' on the application forms!

Who lives with Suki now, maybe she'll take them in.

The writers have dropped the Ravi / drugs story now Zo is back and it’s all long lost families.
Could Ravi get a mortgage ? I doubt this is an option for him. Although such things don’t seem to stop them much.

I like Johnny & Callum together, but I don’t think Lexi needs any more Dads!

Where are Chelsea and Nicola? Can’t remember the last time I saw them.

Chelsea was at the wedding, and Nicola had a scene with Harry a couple of weeks ago. Teddy has completely disappeared though!
