What did people think of her explanation?
She didn't really explain why she didn't tell the viewers really and whilst she didn't actually lie she certainly misled imo

I agree she did look awful today
I wonder if she will continue

I was just thinking a while ago how she appeared to be on a high eg doing extra Tv programmes - lost a lot of weight - looking very happy and sorted.
When I saw her on TV today I thought that she looked like she had been hit by a truck
This really does seem to have hit her hard

Wish the papers would leave her alone - who cares how & why she lost weight - she does a great job on tv & this should be what people focus on.

I also wish the papers would leave her alone. It's probably due to media pressure about her weight that led her to get the operation in the first place.

I love Fern and I felt really sad for her today

She must have had an awful week
