What did people think of her explanation?
She didn't really explain why she didn't tell the viewers really and whilst she didn't actually lie she certainly misled imo

Blimey I can see why she didn't want to tell the world TBH.

And it's not like she's giving bad advice about losing weight is it? Eat healthily and exercise more isn't going to do anyone any harm...

I feel really sorry for her, if she wants to lose weight so despeately that she has something as dangerous and restrictive as a band then good luck to her.
I hope she hasn't mislead anyone but it's not the end of the world if she has.

would think you'd need to be clinically obese or morbidly obese to get it doen on nhs

I really don't think she has lied. She just didn't tell us she had ha an op and it isn't our business. She has lost weight from healthier eating and more exercise.

she hasn't lost weight from heal;thy eating she has a stomach the size of a plum fgs that is why she is thin!!!!!!!!!

A band will only help you lose up to half your excess weight in 12 months so she has had to have done some of it herself. She couldn't have ridden a bike down the Nile if she hadn't have been training.

She had the op 2 years ago & it's really only in the last 6 to 12 months that she has lost a lot of weight so I think she probably has put a lot of hard work into it too.

She has been exercising, she has been eating healthily, all she has done has had a bit of help which she didn't tell us as it is none of our business.

Well because the people buying it would be hoping to lose weight like Fern, but were unaware she had help with surgery.

and I agree with people who are saying that she would have felt under pressure as a public figure to set a good example which is probably why she didn't want to publicise her surgery as many might see that as the 'easy route'. She is a role model to a lot of women I am sure and maybe it would be irresponsible of her if she had extolled the virtues of suregery rather than healthy diet and exercise?

Anyway she will have had to change her diet since surgery and she has obviouslt been exercising is she cycles the nile.
