Starting this a bit early as Spoilers for the couplings could come out at any time.

Thread will normally be the location for the weekly spoiler but will be spoilers for who is paired with who before the 20th if we can get them.

Strictly spoiler poll for final has Karen leading.

I also think George is going to win on the basis that his followers probably don't take part in the opinion poll, they just show up with the votes when he asks them. The BBC will already know who will lift the trophy

I'd love Karen to win. I think she's the better dancer out of her and George.

I don't find Amber smug or self satisfied at all, but I do notice that contestants of her calibre are often labelled as such.

So the people in the DO were the ones I voted to remain. Bal had a good run, but the final is just a two horse race now.

I hope Karen does her AT again. George's paso was good but other than that, he's not really had any memorable dances.

The Charleston was the only dance I really liked of Amber's, but I don't know which other dance of hers would make a likely reappearance in the final.

George is the only novice.
It's so weird how the judges don't seem to mention that at all, yet have actually stated that Karen is a beginner, even though she isn't.

Bal was probably ready to go a few weeks ago now. She never deserve to be in the bottom two so often, but I think by doing so she was kept in longer. Does that make sense?

I have said it a few weeks now but I think Karen and Carlos have got this in the bag. I really want to lie them, but there’s something about Carlos that I can’t warm too which just puts me off!

Id probably be routing for George at this point, but I can’t say he’s wowed me at all this season and there’s no stand out dances from him that I can remember!

I think for me, it's his crying week after week, that is getting a bit tiresome. A bit like Ore was back in 2016. I also don't like that he said Karen's never danced before, when it's clearly not true.

I'd prefer Karen to win than George.

Totally agree with this! George for the win for me as he’s a true novice who has done very well. I just wish he’d had Katya or Jowita as his partner to truly showcase him & bring out the best in him as that’s not Alexis’s strong point!

Facebook likes of the dances normally predicts the frontrunners and the ultimate winner. I've checked it for years and it's pretty much always right. For last night's dances:
Bal 2.6k & 2.2k
Amber 3.1 & 3.9k
Karen 10k & 6.5k
George 8.2k & 10k
So on that it does look close between Karen and George - will all be down to how crowd-pleasing the dances are on the night, I think. The Instagram likes are even more skewed towards George as that's where his fans are.

There should be an hour long ITT on the Monday after the final so we can get thoughts of the winner and other finalists. Plus at least one judge gives their opinion of the final. Plus highlights and funny moments from the series.

I feel the final is rushed when the winner is announced and the other finalists don’t get a look in. Plus gives the finalists time to reflect.

The energy is completely lost this series for me. I have missed a few episodes but haven’t bothered with catch up. I don’t particularly sit down and concentrate on the results show either. I think the joy is lost, particularly this last week. I am not an Amber fan and I agree she has come across a little insincere over the weeks but the abuse she’s taken on social media this week has been awful. I don’t really mind who wins now. The sparkle has gone and I don’t think this series will be remembered much, if at all.

I will vote next week depending on what I see but the show needs a complete overhaul and this includes the judges.

@cosyblankethome I agree, it's been properly meh - I wonder that the fact that four of the original celebs couldn't continue made it not work well- it wasn't the line up the producers wanted. I still can't really remember any dances people did. It's all got so very predictable and boring. I skip past most of the chat in the main show and just watch the dances and the scoring. I used to watch everything including ITT every weekday.

I have lost interest and stopped watching.
Just read the Guardian blog but felt no desire to watch the dances.

I have nothing against George, he seems like a lovely guy. But I find it very disappointing that a You Tuber won I'm a Celeb and now we have a content creator possibly going to win Strictly. I guess it's a sign of the times.

Yes, I think you're right. George has often been enjoyable to watch, but he's not really pushed himself nor learned as much as some of the others.
The BBC are going to need to decide about tiktokers and other SM stars because it'll change the whole show.

I've enjoyed some of George's dances including the Samba last night, but if he wins I feel he'll be the lowest dancing ability contestant that has ever won. It will be so interesting to see the result next week as @KatyaKabanova says it could change the show.

Especially when a lot of votes Ginge got & George is getting are from fans that aren't even watching the shows.
