Not sure i could live next to the M40. The noise would be horrendous in the garden.

purpleme12 · 17/09/2025 20:40

I've watching 15 minutes behind
This flat the men are looking round is very grey

Yes. That's what I thought too. Grey and white.

I like this house but a laundry room in the garden?!? ๐Ÿคจ

xSideshowAuntSallyXx · 17/09/2025 20:46

I just thought of all the spiders that would live in an outside laundry room. That would be a no for me ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Meredusoleil · 17/09/2025 20:57

Each couple got the best properties tonight imho.

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/09/2025 12:55

Agree no to a motorway

and yes spiders would be my concern

Is it just me or does this couple look like they have a big age gap? He looks so old and she looks so much younger imho!

Meredusoleil · 24/09/2025 20:13

Love this first house - so many rooms!

Blondeshavemorefun · 24/09/2025 20:19

I have to watch on +1

Itโ€™s been a while since Iโ€™ve seen Location and itโ€™s so different to other property search programmes like Escape to the Country or Place in the Sun. Itโ€™s to do with Phil and Kirsty, theyโ€™ve a lot of natural chemistry and yes, charisma and I love that we see ordinary houses in ordinary locations rather than fantasy ones

Edited

Both seemed to have older husbands

Love this first house - so many rooms!

I love it too

Love the colours and how bright it is
And how the different rooms are different colours
And the size of the garden

purpleme12 · 25/09/2025 23:07

I did really like both houses that they ended up with

But I just can't believe they came on the programme to find a house in Edinburgh and then after all that wanted to stay in Aberdeen!

purpleme12 · 25/09/2025 23:08

And I still really liked the first house that it showed

Not dull grey or dark green

LillianGish · 29/09/2025 18:47

I surprised myself by loving the 1970s house backing onto Edinburgh's top school - though if the other couple's experience was anything to go by they could have easily been outbid. I really disliked the new build one that they claimed they were looking for (as a dupe for the own house in Aberdeen) - the one they ended up buying was nothing like that in the end. I think I would find the Scottish bidding system very nerve racking - it's so hard to tell what you are going to be able to afford.

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/09/2025 21:03

I haTe bids over

just name your price

Just catching up.
Loved the house Jonny and Juliet bought. I was hoping they would show a few wedding photos at the end of the programme. ๐Ÿ˜€
It has been done before on property programmes.
Iโ€™d hate the garden backing on to the M40 too @xSideshowAuntSallyXx
Imagine having a barbecue on a Saturday afternoon / Saturday evening in it โ˜น๏ธ

LillianGish · 30/09/2025 13:31

I think the thing about the garden backing onto the M40 was that they REALLY wanted to live in a house and there arenโ€™t any within their price range in that area. I thought it was quite sweet because they absolutely loved it - to them it really was their dream house.

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/09/2025 18:13

Itโ€™s all about location. ๐Ÿ˜‚
