It’s been a while since I’ve seen Location and it’s so different to other property search programmes like Escape to the Country or Place in the Sun. It’s to do with Phil and Kirsty, they’ve a lot of natural chemistry and yes, charisma and I love that we see ordinary houses in ordinary locations rather than fantasy ones

Both seemed to have older husbands

Love the colours and how bright it is
And how the different rooms are different colours
And the size of the garden

I did really like both houses that they ended up with

But I just can't believe they came on the programme to find a house in Edinburgh and then after all that wanted to stay in Aberdeen!

And I still really liked the first house that it showed

I surprised myself by loving the 1970s house backing onto Edinburgh's top school - though if the other couple's experience was anything to go by they could have easily been outbid. I really disliked the new build one that they claimed they were looking for (as a dupe for the own house in Aberdeen) - the one they ended up buying was nothing like that in the end. I think I would find the Scottish bidding system very nerve racking - it's so hard to tell what you are going to be able to afford.

Imagine having a barbecue on a Saturday afternoon / Saturday evening in it ☹️

I think the thing about the garden backing onto the M40 was that they REALLY wanted to live in a house and there aren’t any within their price range in that area. I thought it was quite sweet because they absolutely loved it - to them it really was their dream house.

It’s all about location. 😂
