The actor that plays Joel probably wants to do bigger/deeper stuff. He now has the footage to prove he can do it

I'm really liking Oscar as well ,
I'm thinking Kim's husband,Howie ,was involved,and it's him not oscar ,in the attack on Patrick

Halloween and Joel killing is fan speculation.

We know Howie was not involved in the attack, Oscar has admitted doing it. It seems Howie has taken the money from Oscar though, and is keeping it. That is why he is looking troubled/guilty. As well he should.

But wasn't it technically Howie's winnings from the horse race which Patrick tipped him off with?

No, it's Patrick's money. Howie has kept it in return for not dobbing Oscar in.

I was sure Howie had added his own savings to the bet, as he was feeling under pressure from Kim to provide for Denzel, which is why he was so keen to get the money back? Maybe it was a combination of both of their money?

I must be reading speculation and thinking it's fact then
Or my Facebook group of spoilers is false.
So Joel isn't killing anyone at Halloween?

Avanti had horrible messages about sleeping with Joel but at no point did she, or anyone else, appear to be aware of the video. Really hope it hasn't vanished. Ravi will tear Joel to absolute shreds and have him disemboweled when he finds out.

I can’t believe that Lauren made 5k commission on that old car in order to pay off fat Mike for her brother. Do they really earn such good money like that ?
Out of the whole storyline with the 6k win on the horses paid out in cash ( as if) and Howie becoming a baddie, the commission she got on the same day really surprised me more considering it was an old car too.

Maybe Joel did delete that video of Avani or it was stored on the old laptop that his dad destroyed or it may all crop up again later on! He has got away with the Stacey videos being released again, but with Avani I can’t see Ravi or Priya letting it go.

The video was on his phone. Ross made him delete a lot of horrible stuff but he told Tommy how he'd retrieved it afterwards from a hidden or deleted items folder. I suppose all his videos and online activities would be backed up in the cloud anyway.

Ahh, so the video is still around and now he knows about the abortion and feels upset she didn’t tell him , he may well release it :(
He’d be really mad to do though. Unless Avani or her parents come across it some other way ? Avani might have some suspicions or Tommy might tip her off once he discovers how bad Joel can get and not under his spell any more.

The video of Avani will definitely come out. I guess that will be the point of no return for Joel, he'll be hung off a bridge by Ravi and/or arrested.

80s I agree re Lauren, I would have thought she'd get hundreds for the sale of the car, not thousands.

Mere Howie may have had a stake (I thought so too) but he has definitely stolen Patrick's winnings.

What is Howie planning on doing with Patrick’s winnings? He paid something towards the party for the teenagers and not much else ( I think)
He can only claim it was overtime or back pay for a few weeks. After that Kim may have a few questions if he starts splashing cash.
Most would pay it in their bank account and hide it away there , but his probably still got in that envelope indoors somewhere knowing him ( under the bed)
Although the bank might ask questions too for so much cash ? If you can find a bank that’s still open that is. He could just say it’s betting winnings , they did pay out in cash ( which is unusual I bet , but no real idea with betting shops) so he might get away with that.

Lauren came back to work for one da from mat leave.
Sold an old car within half an hour , didn’t see her do much paperwork or anything , they drove off and Jay was able to pay her cash straight away to pay off fat Mike.
If only the world was as simple as that one transaction eh? It is on EE.

Kim wanted Howie to pay for something for Denzil, I think you're right it was a party. She was pressurising him to tell Royal Mail to pay him NOW for some overtime (as if you can walk in and demand early payment from Royal Mail 😆) so maybe he'll say they agreed to pay early. Kim won't care or ask questions as long as the money is there.

Most work places pay overtime the following month’s pay roll. It’s probably rare to get a one off payment for overtime , but Kim isn’t the most clued up person and ( I assume ) self employed herself , so he could pull the wool a bit there and he was made a special case.
It would be paid into his bank account though.
He should try and get a job with Jay. He pays out good money for selling old cars it seems.

Nicolas Ball (Terry) died a couple of days ago (though when I see him , I always think "Hazell" which was back in the 1970s )

The episodes where Phil's ex prison cellmate Aiden ( Patrick Bergin) rolled up with his hat and cane - then his sister (Ciara) who was the sister of Ray (Mels ex DH and Hunters dad )

And I know Billy couldn't do much at the time but when he hid in the shower like a snivelling wimp while Jase got kicked to death .. . He was not a proper Mitchell then !

Weren't the teens supposed to be going camping overnight at a festival or something like that? To celebrate the end of their GCSEs. It was going to cost about £500 each including tickets and camping gear according to what Amy was estimating.

Not sure how Zoe, Suki and Eve are linked to him yet. Unless Zoe is because of Kat and Suki and Eve are because of Avani? 2 more months to find out though.
