Who works in/manages the Bookies ? I know it used to be Alfie .

Are they allowed to say to a punter "Oh you got on a lucky one last Saturday "? or is that information privileged ?
Or someone else who is betting saying to Patrick "Good man you cleared up £5k that'll help with the wedding" (they're all so involved with each others lives there must be someone in the Bookies who saw Patrick)

Then Kim might get suspicious and twig about Howie .
Or a random conversation to one of his workmates "Overtime? Nah , they're cutting hours not offering more"
Though Howie is the Only Postie In The Village even when he's sauntering about not working .

Joel will deffo have the video and if he is as clever as many teens are he might edit it so it's just Avani saying "Yes , I want to" and "it's no big deal" which she said after .

Just caught up on last week after being away.

I liked how Priya was with Avani, I also liked that Nuggets first reaction when he found out was to put his arm around Avani and ask if she was ok.

Has the Nugget dialysis storyline just been forgotten about? It's never mentioned and he was drinking at amys party ...

Speaking of nuggets injury, where's Chelsea gone?

I'm already fed up with Howie, I feel like they've ruined his character (is it meant to tie in with the masculinity stuff do you think?)

I think the Joel stuff is hideous but he plays the part very well. I want to shake him and his dad.

I had completely forgotten about Nugget's dialysis and it seems the writers have too!

The Howie stuff isn't working for me either. The actor is fine with light stuff but I don't think he works as 'troubled'. The money problems and Kim's demands seem to have come out of nowhere too.

It wasn't her commission, What's His Name said he would give her a £5k advance if she sold a car. Which makes no sense, but it is EE land.

Zac has taken it well. He hasn’t received any redundancy money , lost his job and ( maybe) having to claim benefits and now having to find something else.
Ravi’s restaurant closed down very quickly . Everything cleared in no time. I wonder who will take it on?

Kim mentioned Chelsea today , but she wasn’t at Yolande’s dinner party.

Joel looked worried in today's episode when Vicky threatened to call the police if he assaults her or anyone else, but I can't recall if Joel knows she paid off the woman he sexually assaulted.

I don't know, he often puts on that face then trots off to do the same again.

I don’t know for definite if Joel knows about the money for the girl he assaulted on the tube train or not , but I’ve a feeling he does ? However … I was expecting him to say to Vicki ‘ i will tell the police you paid her off’ today , but he didn’t say anything. Unless he is just keeping quiet ? He always looks contrite , but then he goes on to do the same things! He is a snake.

I think there is a bit of him that knows what he is doing is wrong - but because it makes him uncomfortable he shuts it down and thinks of it as just feminazis getting into his head
This is why the actor is so good - he is really able to convey this nuance

There was a scene recently where Ross mentioned to Joel he paid off the Aus family. I don't think Joel knows what happened with the tube woman but he possibly assumes that was 'dealt with' the same way.

80s last week Zack was in the mini mart when Honey started kicking off about the market and quit her job, so I thought Zack might step into the market inspector vacancy!

Yes. Zac was interested in the market inspector job. He will have food handling experience and qualifications as a chef , but not really for much else , but that doesn’t hold them back on EE lol. ( although not sure which qualifications you need and can’t remember if he ever had a stall ? I know Whitney did)
He would be a bit of eye candy after years of Mr Lister ,although we don’t see much of him tbf.
Joel knows about the Australian pay off, so yes, he probably thinks his dad also paid off the girl on the train too. He may not be aware it was actually Vicki who did that.

I do like Priya and Ravi together, but her ultimatum about dropping the dodgy deals won’t end well.
Its sad that Harry is still using and he is probably not good for Gina who has also dabbled in the past with drugs.
Anna is leaving the soap , not sure when, but I’m sure nobody will miss her much!
I hope that the drugs story doesn’t go on for weeks and weeks , but I suppose it will now Ravi is at a loose end and needs money. Unless Priya gets him a proper job somewhere!

Priya is deluded if she thinks Ravi will drop his dodgy deals!

They don't worry about qualifications in EE, if you can hold a clip board you can be market inspector😆

Anna has hardly been on screen this year.

At least Honey used to help run a stall with Billy ( I looked it up ) but she has been doing that job a while now. I find Mr Lister funny how he tries ( badly ) to flirt with her, but she’s never had any of it unless it was to butter him up for something in her favour.
Stacey was good today with Joel , but you know he’ll only keep on at her and wind her up even more :( she doesn’t need the hassle.
It is all a bit depressing at the moment with him and the drugs / Kojo etc and Zoe coming back soon won’t make for light entertainment either ..

Ravi and Priya really look right together, but I suppose it is doomed to disaster as he's already lying to her.

Julie is a good character but they are making her really annoying. Amazing how fast they got that chicken enclosure organised!

The drugs storyline is so boring, but Okie is actually a convincing villain so that's something.

Okie is convincing isn’t he! Very manipulative and has Harry on the ropes .

I was rather taken aback at Ravi switching so suddenly and trapping Harry's hand I'm the car bonnet. Equally at Harry sniffing coke in full view of the general public 🤦‍♀️

I can only imagine the smell of Julie's car after a long drive, sharing a car with 3 chickens, from Edinburgh to London.

Nicola did make me laugh when she told Barney she was ‘ getting to know the new neighbours’ ( the chickens) She is funny with her Cindy put downs too.
Where has jumpers gone ? We haven’t seen him for a while.

Why is Ravi walking around in a shirt that’s too big for him.. also didn’t realise the restaurant was closed!

One minute Ravi had a tax bill to find, the next it’s all shut , the tables have gone and Zac is out of a job.
They move fast when it suits them for some stories , yet the drug one is slow and dragging on and on.

Why don't they use the empty restuarant for the drugs? I would have thought that would be the perfect place to stash them as Ravi still has the keys, no?
