What I don't get is, how come Zoe and Max had never met before or at least heard of each other? Max was so involved with Stacey, surely he would have known Kat had a 'sister' called Zoe?!?

The square is such an insular place where not only does everyone know everyone else, but they often end up interbreeding so are also related in some way or other!

Anyone else crack a smile when Jack was leaving the hospital and said "I had better shoot off". Just me?

I think he used another shooting reference when he was updating the people in the pub - told them to “hold fire” until they had more info, something like that.

Ravi and Jack rolling about on the grass (hopefully no dogshit on there) and Ravi has one strand of hair loose from his perfect manbun after !

Poor Kat reminiscing on the birth of Zoe , her Mum (Viv) took over the baby, she;d said years earlier that she'd asked to hold her daughter and was told "best not to" .
Though Viv was trying to protect Kat and let Zoe stay in the family , it would not have been easy .

I was thinking that when Max mentioned Bradley, surely Zoe would have realised that Stacey was married to a Bradley - you wouldn't get two of them in Albert Square.

I still can't believe Stacey did not recognise Max's voice, I thought that would have been the doof doof doof moment.
Absolutely ridiculous to believe Max had no notion of how Zoe slotted into the Slater dynamics.
The first thing he said to her at the bar was "Are you related to Kat and Stacey" when the bar staff called out "Zoe Slater".
In the normal world, the next conversation would've been so how are you related/connected to them, not have you got any kids!!

The progress of Zoe and Max's relationship was so chopped up we don't really know who said what to who. I think they both know the general bits of who they are, but not the details. We don't know what Max told her, but he would have definitely sanitised it!

I hate how they use children and babies as storylines constantly.

It looked like a bar from Interior Design Masters.

Max's voice sounded distorted when Stacey answered. I think that's why the camera repeatedly panned to the smashed phone screen, we were meant to think the damaged phone resulted in the line being so bad she couldn't hear him as she was repeatedly saying "what?" when he was talking.

In reality a smashed screen wouldn't impact a caller's voice (Zoe heard him perfectly clearly when they spoke at the end) but...plot reasons.

I don't understand why Kat or Stacey didn't look at the old messages/chat history on Zoe's phone. She would likely have had WhatsApp set up with Max and his status picture would have been on there or messages with clues to his identity. Kat was wailing about the killer coming back to kill Zoe, surely you would just tell the police everything and say here is his number...

I call bullshit that Max knew it was Stacey on the phone. She said about five words and he hasn't spoken to her in years.

Ravi with his hair loose. Lucky Priya running her hands through it.That was worth the whole dire episode.

Alfie suggested the police , but Kat said no for some strange reasons that I can’t remember now.

Kat thought there might be incriminating stuff on Zoe's phone. Bear in mind Kat has no idea what's going on. Although nor do we tbh 😆

I certainly don't. I watch it then come on here to get an explanation 🤪

Kat thinks there is a killer loose coming to kill Zoe so if she was any kind of normal mother she would want police help, never mind possible incriminating stuff on the phone. She has no idea what Zoe has or hasn’t done to be worrying so much about that.

Just read that Jay has been sacked after an investigation into remarks he made whilst on the Strictly tour .

Ridiculous - an overreaction but then what do you expect these days from the holier than thou BBC.

Do we know what was said?

If you google ‘Jamie Borthwick sacked’ it will come up in a Daily Mail article. I do think it was wrong what he said, but a warning should have been sufficient.
