Why is he so invested in her anyway?

So he was on apparently good terms with her, but the way he spoke to her at the end of today’s episode feels like he’s planning on causing a lot of trouble just because she snapped at him? He’s the “enemy” she’s mentioned but god knows why.

The whole thing is a farce tbh.

Yes, it still makes no sense. It could have been storylined so that it made sense for him to be angry with her, but they haven't done that. It all seems a massive drama over not much. Jack has done worse than Zoe and it barely causes him pause for thought. Speaking of which, interesting he just shot his brother's girlfriend, another plotline waiting to explode in Jack's face.

It's a shame the plotting is so lame because I think Michelle Ryan is doing a good job, her acting is much better than last time round.

I meant to say, when Zoe mentioned the child(ren) coming from 'bad blood' I think maybe she meant herself, not father of her babies. She talked a lot to Kat about how she feels about being the product of the Uncle Harry rape, so the bad blood is herself via Uncle Harry.

So I still think the father could be Antony, but it is so oddly storylined it could be anyone really.

I think Zoe blamed her "bad blood" (from incest) for the girl twin's death, so she abandoned the boy twin before she could screw him up further.

Only caught up with yesterday.
Bloody hell, Max. Is he Zoë's baby's dad? Or Antony?
She won't die, it's too big a story. So glad she can't be Joel's mum.
Presumably the Ibiza keyring is a huge clue, but that was Ronnie and Roxie. Are they still alive? Just EE dead.
So many questions. Need to get tea sorted and watch tonight's.
That was a great episode. Jack and Ravi are stuck with each other now. How bent is Jack, so many cover ups and corruption 😳

Considering what others have got up to shelling , it’s true that all this over Zoe and 5k etc is small fry.

She should have picked up the money ( as I’ve mentioned a few times now ! 😂)
The man she hit is dodgy as , but all she needs to do is ask Jack for a loaded gun or Phil to help with a baseball bat ( he was her step dad once!) and see them off.
Enough criminals around to help there isn’t there !

Totally agree. That was so ridiculous I fast forwarded most of it, which I never usually do. Why do all the characters owe thousands of pounds for random things, and there's always someone there ready to lend it? why would Zoe use such an obvious low life, let alone give them money for nothing?

The whole Zoe/ Alfie storyline has also been so unbelievable, I do wonder about the new writers and directors etc..is this what we have to look forward to in the future? 😒

Well from a great Wednesday episode to a crap Thursday one. Why did Stacey not recognise Max's voice.
The creepy PI was nonsense and yes take the bloody money once she lamped him (literally)

I’m did think that Max might have gone in to see the guy with her ! I know that was entirely plot driven , but it seemed a bit jarring to me that he wouldn’t.
I would have taken one look at that house and him and left tbh. Total chancer.
zoe did act well today though, upped her game a bit.

Living in a bedsit, so no mortgage/bills/council tax to pay by the looks of it!

The flash back one wasn’t set in Spain then ?
I don’t know why I thought it would be.

I know nothing turns on it, but I don’t think the bloke who got lamped was the PI. I think he was the contact the PI had found, supposedly a former neighbour of the baby’s foster family, who had said he would provide identifying information in return for money. Hence his taunting of Zoe: “he used to be in the garden crying for his mummy” etc.

Ahh; she did throw the money back to Max in the car. I missed that one.

Yes. It definitely was NOT the money, as she left the envelope in the flat. It was the necklace she ripped off her neck and flung at him inside the car!

No sadly it was the necklace, not the money! I guess it's realistic that she panicked and ran but honestly...who leaves £5k laying around😂

I couldn't work out if Max was in a hotel room or a bedroom in a flat. Or even where he was supposed to be. Was the bar he met Zoe in supposed to be in London? I thought she lived in Spain. The set was so cheap looking it was difficult to know where it was.

@JessyCarr I think you are right, the grubby guy was the neighbour the PI found. Which makes it even more bizarre because the PI should have been the one questioning him and following up on any leads rather than Zoe.

6 k here, 5k there. It’s another world in EE land !

I thought it looked like Max was in a hotel room. The sets have been really poor for his scenes though so hard to tell - the bar they were in was pathetic.

This keeps coming up on my FB algorithm, I don't know who he is, or if it's true. Lots of comments saying he will be Zoe's son
