Yes. She met him and Jack at the park. Stacey was a no-show. Jack was doing his nut, but Ricky said he understood and would still be the best dad he could be, etc. She went home and changed her mind, telling Stacey she wouldn’t take Charli away from him after losing her own two dads.

What was the point of the short-lived will they, won't they go to Brazil story?

It feels like just a plot device to show Zoe being grateful for her family, at last.

Penny’s character is a strange one, isn’t she? Never really see her with Jack or her siblings.

Some characters are the never ending centre of attention, e.g. Stacey, and then there’s Penny doing not very much at all, apart from involving herself in whatever is going on with Lauren.

Yep according to Google you have to give 29 days notice for a civil wedding and provide id and proof of address, but when did soaps ever let reality get in the way of a storyline
