Rob Brydon hosts as contestants are driven around Europe in a blacked out bus, trying to guess where they are. I’ve seen clips of the US Version, it might be good!

It was definitely Mulhouse where they stopped, I've been there and it's square is quite distinctive.
Didn't they say the Colmar reference was because there is a replica Statue of Liberty there (and the original was made in Paris). I only know Colmar because the TikTokkers go there for the Christmas market.

i get the impression the town they stop in is meant to give them the country, but also hint at where their final destination is.

so (for instance, not saying it was) city was Colmar In Alcase region, and clue all pointed to Paris.

I’m not able to watch at TV pace tonight so I’m going ahead and watching episode two. Don’t worry I won’t post on here again until 10pm Just in case

I watched the second one on iplayer and it’s much easier to follow.

I agree that it seems a shame that contestants are doing so much traveling and only experiencing it through occasional glimpses from a bus window. They might as well be in a studio. I am waiting to have my mind changed.

Just watched the first one and undecided so far. It seems ok but not amazing.

I’m glad to see that everyone thought the same as us ie why the fuck was all the attention on Alsace (which was easily guessed tbh) when the actual answer was Paris?

And does no one else think that Deborah deliberately guessed completely wrongly to make sure she went home, because she was upset/embarrassed about her misleading the others having backfired?

We are watching the 2nd episode now just to give it a second chance, but if it doesn’t improve then I don’t think we’ll watch E3!

They didn't notice the languages on the sign were French, German and Italian (and Romansh? (sp?)).

So assuming the final destination is in Switzerland, given that’s where they are now, I guess it’ll be Bern, Geneva or Zurich? Or Lausanne or Basel, maybe. Unless anyone can think of any other well known Swiss cities!
