I think it was a set up.

You have to go west from Venice only slightly, and then south to continue in Italy. Going east takes you to Slovenia and it's a long journey from Venice to the border. Do they travel overnight?

What I can't get past is how irrationally upset some people are getting that others are treating it as a competition. It is a competition!

Only one person can win £100k (as far as we know). People have to be eliminated for that to work. Surely everyone realises that at some stage they have to play for themselves rather than the "team". Even cuddly Daren is not above a bit of subterfuge and keeping clues to himself

Trouble with going south in to the rest of Italy, where do they go next?

I can't believe they aren't going to Spain at some point, so maybe they will skip across the to of Italy, do a stop in the South of France and then in to Spain.

How do they have meals/showers etc? Do they have to leave the bus with those goggles on and go inside somewhere with no windows or writing?

Trieste is 2 hours or less from Venice.
Then maybe another 2 hours at the most to the boarder ?.

And exercise / fresh air.

You need to get off a bus occasionally to stretch your legs

I've been in a bus from Holyhead to London with a 30 minute stop. Early 1980s.

They must have people to help them with hair and make up .

I doubt Daren thought to himself to pack a dinner suit , on the ...'just in case I might need one ' !!

Slovenia, like Italy is in the Schengen area. But there's still strict controls, especially on the Italian side. Who knows where they are heading to.

There must be a place to do hair and make up. Even on a normal day Saskia is very well made up. I think there will be another bus behind them with the production team and a space yo wash, change, do hair, and store all their clothes.

The problem with the police looked to be a border crossing problem to me, so perhaps they are crossing into another country.

Enjoyed this episode much more than the others. Maybe they should just scrap the whole boring bus stuff? 😀

Judith looked radiant in that gold dress. Glad some truths are coming home to roost for Team Saskia and Josh. Josh is quite unlikeable, and Saskia, after accusing everyone else of being a "game player", is revealed to be one of the biggest herself.

Delighted to finally meet THE Jackie P! Laughed my head off when Saskia was telling some random Venetian lady, "Are you the famous Jackie P?" 😂

End scene was total pantomime! But I take it to mean they are moving out of the EU? It will only get harder from here!
