How have they managed to film Venice when it’s so quiet?

I guessed Treviso as it's on the Italy/Croatia border as half the clues were Italy and half Croatia. I'm sure they were at Palmanova in the last episode.

The clues don't make any sense, it's all rather dumb and random.

And also how is Nick avoiding all the heat? He’s been right in the thick of game-playing.

Nick's just relieved he's no longer in the firing line now to get rid of.

I agree that the clues don't often make sense. There were some very specific Alsace clues in a previous episode but then the actual destination was Paris.

I last went there 41 years ago !

Did they choose their pairs themselves or production put them together ?
