Anyone planning on watching this?

Rob Brydon hosts as contestants are driven around Europe in a blacked out bus, trying to guess where they are. I’ve seen clips of the US Version, it might be good!

I’ve not watched the second one yet but I just wanted to drop in that someone spotted the people who were kicked out at the airport sitting in the cafe in the square where the box was.

sorry if this has been mentioned or come up the the latest episode, I’ve not read the rest of the thread as I’ve not watched it.

What I’m confused about is if the clues lead you to the destination at the end of the episode then what was with all the stuff in the box on the first one.

One of the pictures in the box was apparently the “I-fall” (Eiffel) Tower.

A bit like the crappiest version of Catchphrase ever.

And can can, but what I didn’t understand was all the stuff with the woman explaining to them about the church.

Interesting. Do you mean they were in the footage shown on tv?

I saw a post on Facebook but can’t find it now where someone who had been on holiday in Grindelwald posted a nighttime photo of the two buses in a car park opposite her hotel. They had taken over the whole car park and also had several white transit type vans, generators and even spotlights. So they must not always drive through the night.

Apparently so. In the bits where they were looking out of the box into the square they were sat at a pavement cafe.

It's weird how they aren't told where they are after they've guessed.

That's a long time not having a clue where they are - or even knowing what kind of clues there were.

What an odd show! And the contestants have the worst knowledge of European geography 😩

My geography is poor I will confess. However if I knew I was going on this I would spend the run up studying maps.

My geography is also scant , but I’m surprised they didn’t get Matterhorn from the big clue they had.

Apparently there is a parallel series recorded for the American market with Americans in the coach - I bet their knowledge of Europe is even worse!

I think I would hate to be on that bus. I would need to get out and see stuff. And exercise

They were talking about this on The Rest is Entertainment podcast. They were saying the US version is filmed alongside the U.K. version, I think they have the same clues and challenges etc.

Did Rob say they were on their way to somewhere once voted the world’s most liveable city? And the km marker was at 650k from the destination. I thought they were mainly Scandinavian rather than German / Austrian?

I’m not sure about the team split.
