Absolutely!
It's total nonsense and I've been wondering it for weeks!
The idea of ED staff sitting in ITU at the bedside of a patient that they don't even know is ridiculous.
And there's absolutely no way that random ED staff would be sitting in on the MDT about the decision to turn off the ventilator of an ITU patient, especially when they don't even have anything to do with the patient.
As well as normal members of the public, there will be millions of doctors and nurses across the country just cringing/laughing at the concept ๐
But anyway.....back to the real world.......
I found the Nicole storyline really upsetting and she acted it out so well. I think it was really brave to go down the plot line of there being no huge reason why she was put in care and that it was simply because her mother didn't go back for her, as the truth is that there's probably many children in that situation.
It must be so traumatic for a child to be put in care, but for them to learn it was their parents choice to do that, as opposed to Social Services actually having removed them, must be horrendous. I can't even imagine how any fostered/adopted child could make sense of that.
I really felt for Nicole and her acting was brilliant. Her portrayed the pain so well.
