@NoMatch4Me we can't blame her for not holding out for Cam. It's not even started yet and she doesn't know if it will start yet. Plus she might not even end up doing everything with the guy

Internaut · 03/08/2025 10:23

I'm guessing Indie isn't leaving, otherwise there wouldn't be much point in starting up the Cam storyline with her.

Faith said the morphine issue had happened with a number of paramedics, so it looks as if someone is nicking it from paramedics' supplies and substituting something else.

NoMatch4Me · 03/08/2025 10:45

@purpleme12 I'm not blaming her for anything. I'm just using it as another example where she starts out with good intentions but is generally easily led away from that.

purpleme12 · 03/08/2025 10:50

I just meant we can't really be surprised that she's done it because the Cam thing hasn't started and she doesn't know it will

spiderlight · 04/08/2025 08:57

My FB memories tell me that it's a year today since we said goodbye to Dervla ๐Ÿ’”

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/08/2025 13:04

Yes seems it points to Jacob but maybe teddy

tho if other paramedics said they gave it but obv isnโ€™t working then surely it comes down to the sweet chemist who has switched it to water etc

but they means poor rash doesnโ€™t have a romance and be nice for him to find love

so maybe not her either

no one ever works their notice

OP posts:
spiderlight · 04/08/2025 20:39

I reckon it's Sunny. She's too nice.

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/08/2025 20:53

Poor rash if it is

and was boss cross with them as she thought they took drugs - or they did take drugs

if they did are they very stupid as must see bad reactions all the time

tho Indie kept refusing

I thought a PP said that hospital pharmacy does not supply the drugs for the ambulances .?

LondonLady1980 · 07/08/2025 17:08

That club looked like so much fun!!!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 09/08/2025 23:45

Was it on tonight ? If so I will look o. IPlayer as away

purpleme12 · 09/08/2025 23:51

Yes

Internaut · 10/08/2025 10:05

That outcome for Indie was soooo predictable.

NoMatch4Me · 10/08/2025 10:08

Just watched last nights episodes. Despite her flaws and issues I'm glad Indie is staying and made up with jan. Her and Cam seem like they could be quite cute together. Hopefully she stays drama free for a few weeks.

I suspect Jacob is stealing the morphine to sell on the streets for money to buy his sons medication?

It seems odd and quite sad that the lack of medication focus has disappeared. No one seems particular bothered about it anymore apart from the person actually being affected by it, like Teddy. It's just sort of being drip fed that the problem is with ALL medication now and not just the original one (I've forgot the name) needed for asthmatics.

unconditionalpurelove · 10/08/2025 12:00

I always thought it would be nice for Rash and Rida to get together.

MagnoliatheMagnificent · 10/08/2025 12:27

I think Rida is a bit too assertive for Rash! He needs someone gentle, the Pharmacist seems lovely.

MsFelicityLemon · 10/08/2025 12:32

Feel like I missed something- what was up with the man with Parkinsons' son?

FurForksSake · 10/08/2025 12:41

I hoped Rida and Rash would get together.

I think itโ€™s being very deliberate pointing at Jacob as the source of the missing meds which means I hope it turns out to be Sunny and isnโ€™t this obvious.

He was stoned

daffodilandtulip · 10/08/2025 13:37

Whatever dramatic thing the ending was leading to, will end up with her in the A&E with Jan apologising for being nasty to her and offering her a job and she'll be here forever.

Quoting myself from 3rd August ๐Ÿค— ๐Ÿ˜‚

It felt like a but of a pint less episode last night, nothing really happened. Is boss man going to quit or have a breakdown, leading to the next instalment of the never ending fight for clinical lead.

mumwithallthebooks · 11/08/2025 02:56

Got really into Casualty at the moment! Find Teddy seriously irritating though

Oldglasses · 12/08/2025 10:27

It was so obvious re Indie and Jan making up.
Jacob is def doing some dodgy drugs deals with the morphine. Wouldn't it be obvious though that patients weren't getting the pain relief - surely he didnn't think he wouldn't be found out. Then he'll have no job and even less money.

FurForksSake · 12/08/2025 10:57

I think itโ€™s really mean of Jacob to be doing this when it could potentially massively impact faith and how far sheโ€™s come. We really donโ€™t want another junky faith storyline with moping Ian.

xSideshowAuntSallyXx · 12/08/2025 11:03

I hope it's not Jacob. I'm not sure he could come back from this if it is. How would he be switching the morphine anyway, as surely each vial is sealed so they'd notice it had been tampered with? I think it's someone tampering with them before they get to the ambulance.

Also, I thought it was Blake's anti psychotic meds that he couldn't get.

FurForksSake · 12/08/2025 11:09

Heโ€™s stealing it to sell to get money to pay for private prescriptions.

I donโ€™t think itโ€™s Jacob as itโ€™s just too lazy a storyline.
