Is it my imagination, or are they keen to get Gayner(?) out if the comp as soon as possible?

Love Orla's jacket

Oh Gaynor - the sleeves!
And Kit is dressing Mr Tumble

I thought Elmer.

CrushingOnRubies · 12/08/2025 21:31

how were they calling Orla’s bottom half of her tent outfit Leggings? There was nothing there

oh no Jess is in the danger zone

CaptainMyCaptain · 12/08/2025 21:31

They've done surprisingly well with the tents.

I hope not. I do like Gaynor alot.

Pancakeflipper · 12/08/2025 21:32

Caz"s tent was so wearable.. I want it.

Make do and mend could be right up Gaynor’s street.

SwedishEdith · 12/08/2025 21:33

I love Gaynor as well.

I just don’t think Gaynor is doing that well - no need to look for conspiracies when the sleeves were too long

ChompandaGrazia · 12/08/2025 21:34

I like Gaynor too. I love how she is reminding everyone that who we look at as an ‘older lady’ now lived through the 60s and had a time!

SabrinaThwaite · 12/08/2025 21:37

I like the way that Dan is ‘alternative’ and yet does the SM family-posed-on-the-stairs thing.

Pancakeflipper · 12/08/2025 21:42

Caz is making me nervous....... will she finish????

I also.like the thought of Dan in Xmas PJ'S.

ArtTheClownIsNotAMime · 12/08/2025 21:44

RRR week is always one of my favourites.

Looks like another hideous m2m coming from Caz but I hope to be pleasantly surprised.

SwedishEdith · 12/08/2025 21:45

Oh, no, Gaynor 🙈

HeadNorth · 12/08/2025 21:48

I wish Sarah wouldn’t pester the sewers when they are under pressure

LIZS · 12/08/2025 21:49

I dn’t get why they aren’t learning from feedback that judges like same fabric/colours repeated top and bottom.

I am pleasantly surprised. It looks much nicer than the drawing and so much better than her others.

Good to see Kit having a female model this week. He did a pretty good job.

Thought the back was beautiful.but gappy round the bust.

CrushingOnRubies · 12/08/2025 21:55

Like Caz’s Kits and Dan’s made to measures

HeadNorth · 12/08/2025 22:00

Caz’s m2m was really good but I also really liked Kits. Maybe a bit gappy at the armholes, but the ombré effect and chevron on the back were great. Lovely to see Dan get garment of the week. All the sewers are so lovely & talented.

placemats · 12/08/2025 22:02

So I'm in disagreement with who should have gone this week because Stuart was the weakest link. Well done Dan.

MorrisZapp · 12/08/2025 22:04

I missed the Dan's pyjamas story, fill me in? Loved the dress he made, great to see him having his moment.

The chevrons weren’t lined up either side of the zip. They normally comment on that type of thing, so I assume it was cut. But that makes two technical errors on it, plus the not great hem, so unlikely to get garment of the week

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 12/08/2025 22:06

So pleased for Dan. That was a beautiful dress.

@MorrisZapp, they showed a picture of a dozen or more members of Dan's family posed on the stairs, all in matching Christmas PJs, and he somehow (spot the non-sewer here!) took bits of the various tops and put them together to make that beautiful patterned bodice. They originally said Christmas 2022, I think.

Sad for Jess, but she had a really bad week.

Kids' week next week - always enjoy that!
