@PurplebeadedFendi I agree with you about the men in Carrie's life.
Aiden is a complete waste of space and Carrie suddenly deciding HE was the love of her life, rather than Big is unforgivable. As is writing Big out of Carrie's history - he was the love of her life and she doesn't ever, ever mention him? WTAF? She's his widow! She had finally married him and lived with him and loved him and got her happy ever after (I know it wasn't 100% but actually I quite liked their relationship in the second film, where she wants Sparkle Guy and he wants to loll on the sofa after a long day, she was right to challenge that marriage laziness IMO).
Berger was indeed a reflection of her, but even more needy and insecure and broke up with her on a post it fgs.
And don't get me started on Petrovsky, who abandoned her in Paris the minute he stopped feeling insecure about his exhibition and had a few super fans around him.
In fact, most of Carrie's men are threatened by Carrie's success, except Big because he was already hugely financially successful.
