I rewatched episode 9 last night. I think Wharton was genuinely pious - he had nothing to gain from letting June ask forgiveness from God before she was hanged but he did anyway - plus he disapproved of Jezebel’s. He probably found it disappointing that his son in law was just some self interested dude.

When is Episode 10 on? I have looked at Prime and All4. It is not on either yet.

I think I was a bit intoxicated tired when I watched it last week as when Nick got on the plane I thought he somehow knew about the bomb and he was choosing to get on the plane as punishment for what he did to those women. What a shame it was actually just because he was a cunt.

I thought Moss's direction from the beginning of the hanger scene was spectacular. I loved the view of the plane wheels starting to move as June was crouched down, I got an induced motion illusion from it. And the camera zooming out on the commanders as the plane was accelerating. Then the ending scene, where you see the explosion reflected in June's eyes with that music over the top, I was and had to watch it again.

So disappointed. Will discuss when we've all seen it.

I said the same and realised as I was typing it that it probably wouldn't have worked as surely they'd have waited for him or realised he'd left a mysterious package
