Up early to air the house before it gets too hot. 40C is forecast for us today & I am so pleased I've got Wimbledon to keep me occupied as I sit in my dark house!!

I’m slightly worried about coming to London tomorrow but 40 degrees sounds unbearable!

I also don’t mind Jack Jane - I just get annoyed with the BBC for building up certain players

This is now my 4th summer here (!?!) & I have become acclimatised somewhat. Up to 30C & I'm OK. Over that & I do as little as I can get away with. But the houses are better equipped - all tiled floors & shutters on every window. Even so, 40 will be a trial. Hoping to keep the house at about 26C - by shutting it all up early. And a great excuse to watch TV ALL day.

Camping (especially in this heat!) would be my worst nightmare - as well as watching Djok!

I walked the dog really early , because even rainy Manchester is predicted temperatures of 30 at some point today. It's pretty cloudy at the moment though, but 'muggy' (I missed my calling as a weather presenter).

Everyone knows my thoughts on the way the BBC builds up the Brits. Unfortunately, I expect more of the same- mainly because Isa knows zilch about tennis, so seems to to think filling the time saying 'Emma Raducanu' several times a munute, when we could be actually watching a match, is what the public wants.

Fizzy camping and Djok<shudder>- that would be my version of 'I'm a Celebrity,Get me out of Here' .
