Welcome to the EastEnders spoilers thread, where we post and talk about any EE spoilers we've read about, including those in early release episodes on iPlayer.

Link below to watch episodes on BBC iPlayer - these are usually dropped at 6am on broadcast days - and you can read brief synopses of upcoming episodes:

Oh yes, I fancy living in .. ( insert a place far flung )
I can be there by tomorrow

the80sweregreat · 27/06/2025 17:30

Poor Lacey hasn’t had much mat leave it seems !

Bunionbabe · 27/06/2025 19:51

Didn't Bernie used to be a soft hearted pleasant character? Now look at her. Complete transformation into vengeful bitch/swindler. Her and Nic'n'Vic, cartoon nasties.

Maybe that was the deal. Do the anniversary stuff and tidy up the stories and then you can go but with the option to come back.
I would like Stacey to be there when Max and Oscar come back

storminabuttercup · 27/06/2025 23:18

To be fair tourist visas for oz took a few hours when I did mine, Alfie’s would take longer as he’s been in prison but he’s not gone there anyway

id be quite happy if the next few weeks were about Nigel, Phil and Linda until they work out what they are doing

the young lad playing Joel is a great actor but I don’t trust EE to do the story justice especially if it turns out Zoe is his mum and they will blame this utter shite on her

id like to see Stacey back but surely Lacey needs more time off

Shellingbynight · 28/06/2025 08:14

I agree that if Zoe is Joel's mum this storyline will dissolve into being all about Zoe (and Kat). It's already being oddly handled with Vicky of all people bribing his victim.

I'm happy to see Stacey back, but why give her a big exit when she didn't need an exit at all, she was only off screen a couple of weeks. It all adds to the disjointed confusion.

the80sweregreat · 28/06/2025 08:29

Stacey leaving was also for plot purposes I am guessing. She leaves, then we have Zoe back briefly and they can write out the children as staying with Lynne. It’s unusual as normally Zoe would turn up in a cab , but they did a similar story once with Stacey who was with a man in London ( one of the ones from ‘ Busted’ or Mcfly or someone !) and Kat brought her home from a nice flat and a hairdressing job to stay ‘ with family ‘because she needed to be back home.
it’s what they do!

Shellingbynight · 28/06/2025 08:46

Yes you're right about it feeding into the Zoe plot 80s. But they could have said Stacey she was staying with Lynne for a break, rather than a big drama about packing up and 'leaving'. Anyway the break seems to have done her the world of good, out of that black hoody and no more sobbing in her room.

the80sweregreat · 28/06/2025 09:58

Martin hasn’t been mentioned for ages has he!
I feel sorry for the kids being moved around so many different places and so on.

Southeastdweller · 28/06/2025 10:04

I’m waiting to read the inevitable announcement that Colin Salmon is leaving. I don’t see much of a future in the square for George (and Kojo).

OP posts:
Shellingbynight · 28/06/2025 10:12

I agree, I cannot see George or Elaine staying. They have thoroughly trashed Elaine, and Colin Salmon has been phoning in his performances with the air of a man halfway out of the door.

Summerseagulls · 28/06/2025 10:21

It looked like Nicola has her eye on George
They could be the new power couple
I like the scenes with Linda and Phil's friendship, can't see them in a relationship though
I think Phil and Sharon back together works best ,with them running the vic

Summerseagulls · 28/06/2025 10:24

I've not taken to the new Vicki at all ,the husband could easily leave as I'd totally forgotten he existed ,he brings nothing to the table
It feels very boring at the minute, not much build up to any excitement
We all know who's coming back and who's leaving, and it feels very tame
I'd absolutely love Ronnie and Roxie back ,however they managed it
Plenty of others have come back from the dead ,it could be done

the80sweregreat · 28/06/2025 12:29

Cindy might not like a Nicola / George hook up. Might be a bit of a fight for him there , but I agree that Colin Salmon is probably eyeing up his next Hollywood movie already and will be off!
Where will Linda Johnny and kids all live ?

Summerseagulls · 28/06/2025 12:31

I reckon Linda moves in with Phil
He likes a house full and they can support each other

Shellingbynight · 28/06/2025 13:03

That is a good point, I think Phil would welcome Linda and kids living with him. It would help both of them. Not sure it would work with Nigel still there but I am guessing he leaves fairly soon with Julie.

NowNumber5 · 28/06/2025 13:38

If Kojo can afford to rent a flat by working ten minutes a day at the Arches, with next to no prior experience as a mechanic, other than "I like cars", then I'm sure in EE world 'Sausage', as a jobbing lawyer can afford to get a place... but who knows!

Who is currently in Sonia's big old house?

Southeastdweller · 28/06/2025 13:39

Lauren and her kids are currently in Sonia’s million pound house.

OP posts:
NowNumber5 · 28/06/2025 13:44

Oh yes that's right @Southeastdweller , I had forgotten about them - again!

Shellingbynight · 28/06/2025 14:07

I never thought I would long to see Lauren back on screen but her storyline is better than all the Elaine angst!

the80sweregreat · 28/06/2025 14:13

Johnny’s career as a lawyer seems to have fizzled out a bit.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 28/06/2025 16:07

the80sweregreat · 28/06/2025 14:13

Johnny’s career as a lawyer seems to have fizzled out a bit.

Ha! Yes it was his colleague who gave Elaine the advice about her rights to the Vic over George saying it was his pub too .
Maybe Sausage doesn't do Licensing Law (but Richie does Grin ) or maybe it's because she's faaaamily it's not effical (or probably because she bought the Pub before Johnny rocked up on the Square again )

OpalescentFruit · 28/06/2025 17:59

So who owns the Vic? Linda? Elaine / George?
