Just seen a post on Facebook (not always reliable) saying Nicola is confirmed as a permanent cast member

nothing against the actress but I’m not a fan of the character

Oh no, not Nicola ! Although they will probably change her character into a nice person we like over time and try and airbrush the other personality she has.

I’ve already watched the first two episodes for this week. Elaine collapsed and it appeared to be a genuine medical thing but I think it would have been an interesting twist if she’d faked her collapse to manipulate Linda into not selling her half of the Vic.

I liked the bitchy description of Bernie from Priya that she’s a “bottom feeder”.

I saw that Elaine collapses this week - twice I think. Good to hear Priya is back! I'll watch the first two episodes later today.

Please don't tell me she might be pregnant as a result of that ONS 😯

Her age (67) was mentioned today so no, she won’t be pregnant.

Elaine is 67, I don't think pregnancy is on the cards!
Probably a heart problem (or maybe stress) made worse by all that alcohol she's been glugging down.

I’m sorry I haven’t rtft but I think felux will leave with Bernie, and sausage and lovely dc highland (omg, brain fail on his first name 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️) will get together.

Who is DC Highland? Do you mean Callum? We haven't seen him on screen for ages!

Ben is doing a short appearance fairly soon. And may well be back permanently later.

Johnny seems a pointless character, they need to give him some direction. I don't even know what he does now. Is he supposed to be lawyering? He wasn't helping L out behind the bar when she was on her own.

They mentioned Sukis daughter Ash today so I reckon she will be back soon with her ‘elderly’ fiancée.

Highway

I assumed Sausage would be leaving with Felix. He doesn’t work and won’t have anywhere to live once the pub is sold. He seems to be a jack of all trades Lawyer who advises on all areas of law but has never been seen in an office or even going to work.

If Nicola is permanent I agree they will eventually rebrand her and she’ll become a nice person with the evil past airbrushed out. They did this with Suki.

Johnny moved to Manchester to do employment/ EU law I think , but that seems to have been forgotten about since his return.
I would like Johnny and Felix to have a happy ever after , but if only F is leaving that won’t be the case unless they are both off. I did read that Felix might be the victim of hate crime, but I hope that was wrong / speculation
Not seen it today yet.

Haha, Callum, that’s it! 🤣 he was on it today.

The only decent scenes in those two episodes were those dealing with the remnants of The Six.

It was good to see Stacey, but ridiculous that after a month away she is now ‘over it’.
