I suppose that Avani will go to the 12 week scan and decide to go along with it all.
I read that Priya finds a receipt from the hospital and Eve and Avani lie about it. Probably a coffee one or food or something like that. I hope she finds out the truth as her and Ravi do have a right to know.

interesting to go here and work out the proportion that are teenage preg (or involve a very young man (darren/heather) or some kind of surrogacy

Eve’s quick turnaround today was another example of bad writing.

Not to mention Avani’s.

Eve’s initial reaction was spot on.
Really unpleasant storyline.

The baby will probably be born early at new years in the Vic ladies or something dramatic like that. Just to keep to tradition of not being born anywhere sensible and with only Eve around to help her of course.
Births are never in hospitals.
There is mileage with a pregnancy but that dries up once the baby is around as then you rarely see it.
I wish someone would open a crèche or nursery on the square , they would clean up.

The initial scenes with Eve and Suki were good, Eve said what we have all been thinking. Suki being manipulative as always - "you're scaring me, you remind me of Nish"🙄

But by the end of the episode we were back to square one with everyone aboard Suki's horrible scheme.

I don't think George works at all with Nicola. He is nice but dim, and she will trample all over him.

I didn't understand Avani saying (rightly) the grief she would get from Ravi and Priya, and wanting some peace. If she wants peace, have an abortion. As it is, in a few weeks they will definitely know and they will kick off immensely when they find out what has been plotted behind their backs.

Literally turned off once I found out avani is keeping the baby and havent watched the rest of this week's

Corrie are doing a similar storyline anyway which makes (slightly) more sense 🙄🙄🙄

Will have to fast forward past the scenes, its so lazy and sends such a shit message to teenage girls - have sex once and the guy might film it/your dad might be angry/you might get pregnant

Would Suki and Eve have to go to the social services in order to adopt this baby?

Yes, unless they lie that Avani is keeping the baby, and do it unofficially.
I hope the storyline doesn't get that far, I don't want to watch a year of this.😕

I wonder if Avani will change her mind when the baby is born, but before that, Eve ‘the lawyer’ will
get her to sign a legal document (which will be completely illegal in the real world) signing the baby over. So Avani will have to fight for custody of her own child. Horrible storyline.

I was hoping that Eve would tell Suki to get lost and tell Priya or Ravi and leave her to it! Or try to persuade Avani to do the right thing at least.
Eve is normally sensible.
Stacey knows now , so I guess she may let the cat out the bag! Or say something in front of someone else by accident. As they do!

What’s become of Phil ‘ fighting ‘ for Lexi ? Has that been dropped now Nigel and Julie are there?

I know nothing about this stuff but if a mother gives her baby up wouldn't the father have a say before it went to anyone else?

80s, after Nigel turned up again Phil warned Jay/Callum not to put another foot wrong or else he’d go after Lexi. So yes he's just dropped the whole idea.

Eve doesn’t know yet that Suki has promised money to Avani. So that’ll be an interesting conversation.

From being super clued up, the plot now means Avani has suddenly lost her brains, she said she doesn’t want Joel to know. Is she going to claim the father is some other random bloke? Waste of time, the truth will out.

I had forgotten that Phil isn’t now perusing having Lexi live with him. I guess he has enough going on with Nigel and Julie!

I see Nic with Max more if he's going to come back at some point. Thry could destroy each other.Maybe Sharon will get in with George, I think they are well suited to an extent, but I can see her wanting more excitement. Maybe they all just need to throw their keys into a bowl, things do need switching up a bit.

I think George and Nicola are way more suited then George and Shelaine

I read in the TV mag that Joel is back next week as he goes into a rage after finding out his mum is getting married. Which seems the Zoe theory will be unlikely?

Also I can imagine Joel would only want anything to do with the baby if it's a boy. Although can he really go on doing what he's doing to women if he ends up having a daughter of his own? 🤔

I do hope Barney does the right thing and soon tells Ravi or Priya what's going on. He seems to be the only one with a voice of concern in this stupid storyline.

Also, I've been pondering this stupid drugs storyline. Didn't Ravi use one of Nic's contacts? Surely she could use the contact to her advantage to get Harry out of it.

@SnowFrogJelly I can't see G&N at all! He is a nice guy at heart, and she is manipulative and evil - a murderer - do you think that's his type? Maybe it is, he lived with Cindy! 😆

I just realised that the problem with making Suki 'evil' again is that it would give them two very similar characters (Suki and Nic). But Suki is an absolute pro, Nic is an amateur in comparison.

But the Avani storyline is very confused. Suki definitely was all out manipulating Avani, now they have backtracked and made it sound like just what Avani needed. The writing at the moment is terrible.

Still scope with Max and Nic, she has already humiliated him with the pants and George looks a bit uncomfortable around her. She’ll probably use him but still have her eye out for someone else! She isn’t the loyal sort.
I think the Avani story will have people switching off.
Most awful one they have had in a while.

Maybe Cindy and Nic will compete for Max😆

I think that Ravi has moved on with Nicola’s original contacts and now with that other man and a new drug dealer , but this is a pure guess mostly because she hasn’t done much about it herself apart from helping Harry by distracting George to use Kojo ‘s place.
Not sure why G didn’t quickly put his shirt on and just pretend to Howie he had also popped in about a job rather than hide under the desk close to her legs etc which was a bit cringy. Howie isn’t the sharpest one , he’d have bought that and Nicola was dressed.
It’s all so silly the way they hide under tables without sneezing. I’d be sneezing like mad with the dust in there. The office is a sleazy place for affairs and bunk ups. I bet it smells!

Yeah, a blond ‘hand bags at dawn ‘ for the bald one.
He always had a lot of luck with women tbf.
