So, if Suki is off soon to do strictly , she’ll be another one having to be written out for months.
Maybe she’ll go and visit Ash leaving Eve heartbroken.
I know they sometimes do both, but it restricts what they can do on set.

Saw the Nic and George thing coming a mile off 🙄

Suki back to her old manipulative, self serving ways.
Really hope Eve sticks to her original guns and puts the spanner in the works for this storyline.

Nice for the kids to celebrate Mart-In's birthday, not a peep from Lily, though Shazza got a mention.

I hope Sharon comes back soon, I do miss her and her business suits running the gym.
Although she didn’t had any significant story lines for ages prior to leaving for Oz.

It is depressing how they have to sleep with people / neighbours from the square constantly!

For fucks sake - Suki/Eve and Avanis baby story - Just no!! Cant we have someone having sex for the first time and getting pregnant

Apart from Sonia and Reiss having IVF treatment last year , I don’t recall anyone else having trouble conceiving a child, but might have been ? ?
Im glad that Eve is anti this mad idea. She adores Suki and normally goes along with things.

I don't think Eve will be comfortable with taking Avani's baby. And she will also realise how manipulative Suki was being. Avani is vulnerable, she's 16, this is awful.

But there was some good acting from Eve. And nice to briefly glimpse Zack.

It seemed a bit odd celebrating Martin’s birthday, is that a thing?

Everything else seems to be crime-related.

Yes, let’s all celebrate Martin’s heavenly 40th in the place where he died. It is rather EE , but I doubt many would think it appropriate lol

Eve today was horrified. Rightly so.
I do think she’ll help her have the abortion and they might tell Suki she lost the baby instead. Not pleasant, but she won’t let it drop otherwise I guess.

I've just watched today's episode and I'm really glad they didn't drag out Eve finding out its Avani's baby that Suki wants. I hope doesn't end up being manipulated into going along with it aswell and helps Avani make the right decision or atleast gets Priya & Ravi's involved.

ETA- the more I watch of Suki the more I realise that she is just as abusive to the children of her family as Nish was to her.

Yes. Suki is so flawed and so like Nish. A very complex character and not always nice.

It was sort of understandable that Suki felt she had to rule her family with a rod of iron back in the day because of her history, but now she has come through that and is in a happy relationship. So it is incomprehensible that she wants to coerce a young girl, in the way she was presumably coerced herself (into marrying Nish).

Was it an arranged marriage with nish ? I can’t remember their back story , but he was away a long time so she had to be strong and work long hours.
I know it wasn’t easy, but it has made her like she is.

I get a different interpretation of Suki's manipulation of Avani. It came across to me that Suki is doing it because of religious, and historical reasons. The problem is the family only loosely follow a religion, so it's hard to get behind her using that as a reason. The historical reason (Ash) is more relatable but Avani is different to Ash, and ultimately it's Avani's choice. I can see Suki feels she is trying to help, I do think it's coming from a good place, but unfortunately it's not right.
She's lost Ash, Vinny, and now stands to lose everyone else. It's sad, as her and Eve are the only happy couple, but it looks like it's being set up for Suki, and possibly Eve to have an absence.

Suki is doing it for selfish reasons IMO - well, probably just for plot reasons that make no sense! As you say she is not particularly religious, Nish used religion to manipulate the family and now she's doing it too.

80s she married Nish when she was 18 and he was always abusive. I think she said it was an arranged marriage, but I can't remember for sure.

The reason I don't see the religious reason being used as manipulative, is because she did go privately to seek advice for her concerns. Suki didn't force Avani to go with her, nor has she shared her conversation with Avani. This is different to how Nish acted

It just really sucks, many storylines are just awful atm. Maybe due to staff absense/exits, bad writing, and a producer that wants a new audience

Suki is trying to use religion to justify and bolster her actions, but I agree the writing is so scattershot that I am not sure the storyliners actually know what they are aiming at. Is she motivated by Ash, by religion, by Vinny being nasty to her? Who knows.

The pacing is awful too. The Avani storyline and Kat buying the Vic, are rushed through in a week. That means they feel unearned, they just appear out of nowhere. Then others like the boring Harry drugs storyline are never ending.

Well once Eve finds out the brown stuff will hit the fan.

I hope that Harry manages to stop them using kojos flat. It is upsetting and annoying.

Just watched today's episode, looks like this baby storyline is around for the long haul. Can't believe they've managed to guilt Eve into considering it🤦🏽‍♀️ and NGL i really wanted her to tell Ravi then.

Eve’s quick turnaround today was another example of bad writing.

On the positive side I love George and Nicola together.

George and Nicola do have chemistry! She is his type. Which is why it didn’t always work with Elaine.
Is Eve going to go along with this idea then ? Was hoping she wouldn’t
