Suki isn’t related to Avani , she hasn’t asked Eve and is assuming that Priya and Ravi will go along with this as well. Whole thing is nuts.

Oscar is a dead ringer for Suggs of Madness, even his mannerisms are Suggsy

He has Suggs mannerisms with his hands.
He does look like Max though and way of speaking to people which is scary. The way he saw off that Issac.

Yes but it's less nuts than the Zoe-Alfie-Kat-Stacey storylines so it looks pretty normal😆

At least Alfie has finally fessed up, but I guess that’ll be deleted by someone by accident.
Kat only trusts Stacey and Alfie : trust issues there as they both have form for lying and cheating !
I did laugh at that one tbh.

I don't feel I've followed the Kat / Zoe part of the story - why can't they just tell Kat the truth about what's happening with Zoe? It's all getting so convoluted now it's ridiculous and poor Kat now saying repeatedly about the need for the truth and 'no more lies' highlights what big whoppers she is being told.

Zoe doesn’t want Kat to know what’s she done.
we don’t know what it is either.
Speculation she is Joel’s mum and she abandoned him at birth, but no idea.
Whatever it is she is now in trouble , owes money to people who sound pretty nasty and avoiding Alfie.

So Avani's baby (if born) will be Stacey's first cousin twice removed or something, Kats great grandchild - Mo's great great great grandchild - and various step relations of the beales and vicky

The thing is with Zoe, Alfie is trying to find her. I assume to bring her home ; so why not tell Kat the truth ? I know his confessed now , but why the cloak n dagger from the start? Zoe ran off , most people would have left her to it! ( I know that the Alfie actor needed time off , but even so, they should have written him out a different way ?)

That’s if Joel is Zoe’s child! Yes, a relative of the slaters and up to now at least he wasn’t anything to do with any of them at all !

It is a good way of entwining the Fowler’s and the slaters I suppose via Joel. A bit like the Carters with Annie and the Brannings.
I can’t imagine Joel will be too enthusiastic being related to mad Mo and the others, especially as he has corrupted Tommy only recently and he is on better terms now with Kat. That might change once he discovers that they are related.
Will Joel’s dad reunite with Zoe ? I don’t mind Vicki , but she needs a purpose and a few shifts in Kathy’s cafe isn’t enough.
All depends if the rumours are true as well.

I think the reason Antnee is returning is because it was his child which Zoe abandoned. But the storylines are so ridiculous at the moment she could equally well be Joel's mother.

Oh, so if Antnee and Zoe have an ‘abandoned’ child, he or she is also bound to show up. As if Oscar isn’t enough as a recent addition to the abandoned / troubled teen crowd they already have around.
Having Avani linked to Joel and the slaters would also make for interesting dynamics, but so far fetched yet again! At least Joel was brought up by Ross I supppse.

I think that Linda told Oscar about Annie because Lauren knows and rather fess up than have her tell him at a later stage.

I didn't understand why Linda told Oscar. Neither she nor Lauren had any particular reason to do so at that point - obviously he'd find out eventually but there was no reason to plonk that info down immediately. There are so many things at the moment which seem rushed, messy, nonsensical.

Agree with Shelling that people are doing some weird things! At least Linda is now on that cruise and not Priya. Again , another example of a stupid incident though!

Kat and Alfie running the vic was something I wanted, I like them behind the bar

But it makes no sense that they'd be able to afford to own it, even with Stacey's, like 5%?, deposit

Makes no sense to me why they had to tell all these lies about what theyre doing to get Zoe back as well 🙄

I really hate this avani being pregnant storyline. Why does anyone who has sex or does drugs once on soapland have to end up pregnant or in hospital

Plus, the boy took advantage of her. A swift abortion is what's needed. Agree that maybe suki is trying to redeem herself as a mum

I'm one of the people who does not like her 😄, the north remembers how she treated her kids

I’m confused about the cruise.
I thought the whole point of Priya going was because it was a singles cruise yet Elaine takes it back off her and Linda, Johnny and the kids go instead.

Yes, but Johnny and Linda have also taken two small children with them on the ‘singles cruise ‘ ! I bet Johnny has more luck than her finding a few dates though to get over Callum.

They have KiddieKupboards on cruise ships very nice too.
I'm not au fait how they work but there might be single parents who take their DC along ?
Johnny Sausage will deffo forget about Callum and Felix

And as it was a very last minute booking maybe they were glad to sell the rooms .

Yes.
Maybe Linda will have a holiday romance of some kind and the kids can go into a ‘kiddie club or cupboards ‘ lol ! I just imagined everyone to be single and no one under 18 on a cruise like this, but then I’ve never been on one myself. It seems a bit niche to be advertised as ‘singles only’ , but no idea how it works or who is allowed on it !

At the rate the new producer is going, Linda will spot mick going back stroke in the middle of the ocean and bring him home

I wondered if Mick may turn up, but DD seems to be everywhere doing loads of tv and films , so I doubt he’ll come back from the sea any time soon. I think that Linda can go it alone, but I do wonder what she’ll do now the Vic is a slater pub! Where will she work ?

DD may be back for a one-off appearance - I can see him doing it if Linda leaves - but he’s too busy and successful to go back permanently. This year he’s won three big industry awards for Mr Bigstuff and Riders. I’ve always liked him as an actor and never agreed with people on the other EE thread about how ‘shit’ he was.
