Would Linda still be the licensee until the sale is complete, and Kat would therefore been seen as an employee? Probably not though as this is Eastenders and the law is different in Walford.

Oscar telling Max surely must be the reason for his return.

Would love to see Julie stay permanently.

I like Linda especially now she is sober , but it felt like the end today for her and what will her and Elaine do now ? They only know how to run and work in pubs.
What about money ? E may get a pension , but Linda is still young to give up work completely and has little ones to think about. No maintenance from Max. No job.
I know that money is a transient thing on EE , but renting is high and the pub money they get will only last so long.

Yes I agree that it looked like Linda was leaving the Square for good rather than just on a cruise. Plus was Johnny going with her as well as Ollie and Annie?!?

Is it just me that can see a resemblance between the Oscar and Annie actors 🤔

I didn’t notice Johnny in the cab, but I assume he went too? They all seemed to shoot off at a moments notice.
Maybe he’ll meet someone on board and decide to work there for a while to get over Callum.

Linda will be back because Max is returning, so there's mileage there for her in terms of their daughter and stories. Otherwise, she's a spare part.

Serious question... is Stacey/Lacey actually leaving then? Because there was this whole post about taking some time to be with her family, etc but she only left for about a week and looks like she's now staying 🤦🏽‍♀️ i know don't even know what to believe with the casting leaks of leaving or returning. Tell me I'm not the only one 😅

Just catching up with this thread, currently on page 20, but had to post about Oscar. Oh my goodness he is THE most annoying teenager, thought Nugget and Avani were bad but Oscar, he is something else. The side eye, the head tilt, the jerk of the head, the shoulder tilt . . i could go on, who does he think he is, the young Mick Jagger ?
Oh, and it may have been mentioned, but is Lacey/Stacey pregnant again? She looks as if she is.

I thought it was said she’d be leaving later in the year?

Linda is returning for a ‘new chapter’

I thought Linda’s ‘exit’ was clumsily done, it was supposed to signal ‘end of an era’ at the Vic but it seemed like end of Linda. But it isn't, they have already set up Max and Annie drama.

Oscar didn’t seem like such a nice funny guy last night, and I was not sure quite what those facial expressions were supposed to mean. It was nasty to consider telling Max to ‘annoy’ - he knows how he has suffered due to Max, why would he want to pass that on to another child. He will presumably tell him.

I agree the Stacey ‘exit’ is confusing, because she had one that looked final but she immediately returned. Again, clumsy. I read a quote from the producer that she is leaving later this year and coming back ‘whenever Lacey is ready’.

@Shellingbynight That was what I read too, that the door was being left open for Lacey/Stacey to return when she was ready.

No episode today so the next one must be tomorrow.

I wonder how Vicky will react to Avani and Joel’s news about the abortion if she finds out anything?

I can see why Avani does not want to tell either Ravi or Priya, because they would both go nuts. And they would probably try to pressure her into keeping the baby. I can't remember how long ago she shagged Joel, about 10 weeks ago?

Wasn’t keen on Priya’s top yesterday that resembled a kind of bandage or straight jacket affair ! She is so pretty but has a very odd taste in clothes. I know it’s probably high fashion.

What about Priya's glittery shorts!

I missed the glittery shorts shelling.
She often wears skirts that seem at an angle as well.
She always looks cool though , despite the odd tops

@Shellingbynight I think Joel and Avani had their liaison in the first week of May, so 10-11 weeks ago.

I think they have to put priya in clothes that are just a bit wrong (don't fit, too tight or just weird) because otherwise she would look too beautiful for her part

Just caught up on last night's episode, I have a weird feeling that Phil and Julie are going to become an item when Nigel passes? I hope not but im probably imagining it but seems to be a subtle set up for moving along to a potential bond/love after a shared loss type scenario.

And perhaps with his super sperm......
