Jay said something about not being able to afford it, even for her birthday, Phil overheard and came to the rescue.
Billie Eilish is actually playing Manchester next week, it's good they've kept it factual 😄

Quite like Oscar , he's quirky with a wicked side to him ...........who are they going to match him up with ?

Lexi would probably jump at the chance to live with Phil , big empty house , Money Tree Safe .
Phil tried to get custody of Raymond didn't he ?
I thought Linda might move in but I can foresee that Phil is so angry with Sausage that it;ll be a Non Starter !

I can't think of anyone they could match Oscar with, can you?

There are rumours, don't know if it's true, that Nigel and Julie will be staying in the square for a while. It would make sense short term, and give Phil a chance to come to terms with Nigel going, but they can't really show us a lot more deterioration.

I’ve seen a couple of things in the last day or two where it’s said that Julie’s returning permanently, think it came originally from The Sun though so I’m taking it with a pinch of salt.

I wonder if we’re now about to see the new set extension put to more use. I remember seeing pics of houses and shops, which looked like they’d got flats above them, so maybe that’s where Linda would live?

Nigel might do well with two carers tbh. They know him and Julie seems the pragmatic sort, might take his mind off Lexi too. Although he’ll probably go on about it because she’s family

@MadisonAvenue yes I haven't seen any confirmation that Julie is back 'permanently' but the way it has been set up with them both returning next week does make it seem likely they will be there for a while.

I wonder who owns those flats. Is that where Kojo lives? Either the Panasars or Jack seem to own all the rentals in Walford!

80s at least Lexi liking Billie Eilish was more realistic than those two women at the stall being thrilled with the music Oscar played (the Last Waltz?) They looked in their 60s but behaved like they were in their 80s. And as for being offered a cauliflower.... wtf? 😆

Shelling, I preferred the rave music and I’m nearly 60. All that kind of 60s music isn’t for me.
I was amazed that selling a cauliflower could be so thrilling ! lol

Even my mother did not like the Last Waltz type of music, and she'd be 90 if she was still around! She was a Status Quo fan😂

Ds2 keeps me in the loop about new music and I like hearing new bands or artists. Some 60s I like ( Beatles , Stevie wonder ) but I also like Sam Fender and Billie , Christine and the queens , Charli XCX , the blossoms

The only thing I know about Billie Eilish is that she sang with Green Day at a benefit concert earlier this year. I think we’ve sort of influenced our sons with music rather than the other way around. The oldest comes to concerts with me. We see Green Day every tour, Frank Turner every time he tours too and Morrisseyin May was our most recent, and the younger one is currently enjoying taunting me with the fact he has Oasis tickets and I don’t.
I was the only one out of four of us who got through the Oasis queue to the sale page but he (and his friend) were the only ones prepared to pay the dynamic pricing…so I have two Oasis tickets in my Ticketmaster account which don’t actually belong to me (and dynamic pricing looks a bargain now compared to Viagogo).

I liked two and a half of Oasis ‘s albums ! I bet it’ll be a good concert though.
You used to hear songs on Eastenders occasionally, but not so much lately that I recall.

Someone on tik tok pointed out that jay’s hair changed mid way through the episode and now i can’t unsee it. I’m not sure why he is suddenly on screen so much when they are writing him out.

Yes: Jay had a hair cut , the continuation there wasn’t great with the editing !
Maybe his in it a lot atm

There were songs in the background - "Look of Love" ABC ( DH said it was Heaven 17 <pah!> and one by The Cure ..this was in the background at the Vic.

I like Jay in Eastenders Classic he's a little boy (I watched a couple of episodes last week , there was the fire that trapped Mickey , Dawn and Summer )

A transfer of Lexi's guardianship looks more likely now and at 13 she would have a say .

It’s gone in a different direction I think. Oscar is turning into a marmite character. The teen stories are recycled ones. I mean another teen pregnancy 🥱

The new boss has only been in his role for a few weeks.

When Oscar and Stacey were in the ChipShop and she realised he was Oscar and he realised she was THAT Stacey
Stacey who his Mum hated .
Stacey who was married to and cheated on his half brother Bradley ( with Max)
Stacey who shagged his Uncle Jack (corrected , it came up as Incle at least ut wasn;t Incel )

His Mum who had a relationship with Uncle Jack also had a fling with Staceys brother Sean and together they tried to dispatch his Dad in a coffin buried alive .
But Max had a fling with Tanyas sister Rainie .

Brian (Ian) step son Steven had a fling with both his sisters and was the Dad to Baby Abbie .

And his Dad had a fling with Brians daughter Lucy (twin of his BIL2be Pe-tah )

Don;t look at Callum, he's your BIL's Dad Mums Ex DH son
Don;t look at Johnny Sausage , he's your half sisters half brother

I wouldn;t worry about those threatening texts Oscar , your head will explode before they find you when you start thinking about your Faaaamily Tree

I wonder if 100,000 is enough to buy a stake in a chain pub? Is the Vic a Free House ?
That might be the next storyline , it;ll get taken over as something like a 'Spoons or Yates and the locals will Not Like It .
