Harry doesn’t trust his mum anymore. He should with this new problem because she had her men around to beat up Zack and her and Teddy have contacts. I’m sure she would love to have one over Ravi too.
But H probably won’t do anything

I agree with pp, it's all going quite dark at the moment with some nasty druggy types and other criminal activities. There are so many interesting storylines involving the families now that Oscar is there if they could get his mum or dad, or both there at the same time to see what their son is doing and how he is, or see how Lauren is getting on with the new baby. That would be realistic for once and could be really interesting. Max is a good actor as well, it could be powerful and explain some of why Oscar is as he is. I feel the writers are just stereotyping Londoners as being in a constant battle with crime and drugs!

Re scratch card - when Ian left they said ‘do you think he bought it??’ And Jean said are we being mean leading him on?? And then Mo bought Vinny a drink saying ‘thanks
for that’ (assume for pretending they bought the card at his shop).

The pregnancy ones are also a bit boring too. We had all that with Ricky and Lily and Anna had an abortion last year not to mention Lauren and her drug dependence whilst pregnant now Avani too :(
Its always the default story and I agree the drugs ones are also dark.

Oh and Stacey said something like ‘if he thinks we’re buying the Vic he won’t.

Weird story with the scratch card. It’s all been a bit strange lately!

All becomes clear re the scratchcard in today’s episode. The scratchcard was a joke, but Stacey comes into money another way.

@CorporaINobbyNobbs I think the 'ruse' was supposed to be Stacey pretending to want to buy the Vic. But she has no intention of doing so, she is just tormenting Ian. I think the scratchcard win is real.

Edit, just saw Jessy's post. This storylining is such a mess.

Yes. Miraculously it is exactly the same amount as the spoof scratchcard.

Oh what a coincidence eh! And paid out that fast too.

Of course Jean can’t get a job somewhere else
( when they said she’d lose the cleaning one at the pub) or the new owners may take her on! Oh no, it’s all the drama around that when other cleaning jobs are available ( they used to clean offices up town once!)

The insurance/scratch card 'coincidence' was completely pointless. And I still don't know how it buys the Vic. Are we supposed to think they will give Kat a mortgage?

At least Oscar has calmed down. I was on the verge of fast forwarding him.

The best thing again was Phil, although I much prefer New Phil. It didn't take long for Angry Phil to turn up again.

Linda mentioned to Phil she didn't know where she was going to go when the Vic sells. Hopefully to Phil's if he's got over himself by then.

I like Phil and Linda’s friendship (when he isn’t angry Phil) but I really hope they don’t ruin it by having it turn romantic. Which they always do. Are they any male/female friendships that haven’t led to sex? Alfie and Linda is the only one I can think of and not even sure if they didn’t have any romance!

Nasty Phil ! I was so hoping they would list all Phil’s many many affairs and adulterous activities whilst he was with other people , wives and girlfriends etc. They should have done this , he is a total hypocrite.
He fought Lola for Lexi before as a baby and lost that one. He is just obsessed with family all the time
It’s a shame as I liked his friendship with Linda and that’s blown now too. He is just on self destruct.
The money is stretching a long way isn’t it ! .. A pub like that is worth a lot more but Stacey thinks it’ll be enough , maybe with a mortgage but no idea.

Why didn’t Tanya tell Oscar about Jimmy ? That family are just toxic! No wonder his like he is!

Ravi is getting on my last nerve too at the moment.
Such a manipulater and I doubt they will manage to keep this a sceret from Kojo either.
I just hope he doesn’t end up beaten up over it all or worse :(

Phil is lashing out as he’s so miserable and trying to get Lexi is so he won’t be alone and also as revenge on Jay/Callum.

I really like Jay as a character, pity the actor is a div, wonder when he’ll be written out.

I so wanted Jay to list Phil’s affairs. He slept with Emma a few days prior to marrying Kat ffs !! He wouldn’t ‘’ wait for anyone yet Callum is meant to live like a saint !

I wonder if part of Phil's reaction to Callum/Johnny is because it reminds him of Sharon shagging Grant (again). But yes he is of course a total hypocrite. (Not that it makes any difference who Sharon shagged, that storyline died a death because Letitia disappeared.)

I don't get any hint of romance with Phil and Linda and I hope it stays that way!

I didn't like Jamie Borthwick as 'himself' on Strictly, but he plays Jay well. I agree, I keep wondering when he's going to disappear!

I wonder when Jay will leave? I did read that he was off , but not sure when.
Callum is never at work is he!
Be nice to see Kat behind the famous bar , but they are bound to mess it up I suppose.
Her first ‘ get outta my pub ‘ will be uttered fairly soon after getting the keys ( if it happens. )
It will be the third major business the slaters run on the square , becoming the Beales mark two.
Phil runs into a lot of ex’s in one episode today
His been around the block hasn’t he!

Where is Letitia Dean anyway? She takes a lot of breaks!

I hope that Letitia is alright as she’s hardly been in it this year and she is one of my favorite characters.
She could always talk Phil round the more hare brained ideas he has. Would Lexi want to live with her grandad anyway ?
